el-terror posted an update in the group Dance Music Fans 2 years, 1 month ago
My favourite era for dance music is definitely the late 1990s to the early 2000s. It’s a nostalgic time for me though as it’s when I used to go clubbing every weekend.
A lot of American R n B acts seem to use dance music in their tracks these days but none of them seem to be that good (to me anyway). Is dance music going to fade away again…[Read more] -

Mine is probably Rank 1 – Airwave (Rank 1 Vs Dutchforce Remix), but there are so many more that I love too.

Other than Tiesto and Rank 1 who I previously mentioned, I love The Prodigy. They’ve been around for years and released loads of great music. I prefer their older stuff but some of their more recent releases have been pretty good too.

Dance Music Fans 2 years, 1 month agoPersonally, I love trance. I’m into Tiesto and Rank 1 mostly.
-
I’m a trance guy. Mainly hard and commercial styles, like Armin Van Buuren and that sort of thing. The Gatecrasher era of trance and the stuff Eddie Halliwell plays is up my alley.
-
I always wanted to go to Gatecrasher but i’ve never got around to it. Sounds like a great club. I used to buy a lot of their compilation albums though which were good.
-
I never went to the club but the compilation CD’s from the late 90′s/early 00′s are awesome.
-
Soulful (and some deep stuff when I’m in the mood) House mostly from the US.
-
Those CDs were great Rusted. My favourite compilation CDs though would be Euphoria. My Favourite compilation of theirs would be Tried and Tested Euphoria (mixed by Judge Jules). There are some brilliant tracks on it.
I haven’t bought a compilation CD for a few years now. There aren’t many decent ones around now. -
I have a couple of the Euphoria comps. The double CD mixed by BK which came out around 05 is banging.
-
Bloody Beatroots are great, also lovin Cosmic Gate….Punk…gets me movin every time!
-
Cosmic Gate takes me back! Fire Wire’s my favourite.

Dance music, like an genre goes through lulls but it’s all ebb and flow.
It’s constantly evolving and there’s plenty of good stuff around currently.
Not a chance. I’ve been into House since the late 80′s and it’s still going strong.
), they mean dance music will be around for a long time yet.
People use to think it would die off like Disco and even though I hate all the off shoots of it (esp UK “garage”
I suppose you’re right. It went away for a while (or went a bit shit in my opinion) when the “in thing” was more indie and rock music (in the UK anyway). Now it seems the tables have turned again and dance is back. There are a few tracks that I think are good at the moment but not to the extent of what it was like around ten years ago. I used to…[Read more]
