Chris Eggertsen wrote a new post, We Bring You the 2009 Horror Oscars…errr Hoscars! March 7, 2010 11:28 am
For me, this has been a rather disappointing year for theatrically-released horror. While there were a number of solid films on offer, nothing particularly grabbed me or stood head and shoulders above the rest. […]

What the hell happened to cartoons? Look at the absolute drivel that is crammed down the kids’ throats these days.
I was a little kid in the mid and late eighties, so I only recall a handfull of the cartoons from then (Ghostbusters, Ducktales, etc), but the nineties had some awesome cartoons.

Yeah, it’s all crap. Adult cartoons are fun, but what happened to cartoon violence for kids? It all had a message in the end, so it was ok, right? And Mojo jojo is pretty fantastic!

Agreed! Shows like Disney’s Gummi Bears (with their magical gummi bear juice that made them jump), Duck Tales. Shows like Denver The Last Dinosaur, Count Duckula, Danger Mouse! But my favourite as an 80s child was Dungeons and Dragons.
Now days there is the preen invasion and the cartoons don’t seem to have the same wram and fuzzies. But…[Read more] -
I LOVE cartoons old ones,Mickey Mouse, etc most Disney. Now im all grown up im really into Futurama,Simpsons,American Dad and Family Guy are the best i have all the box sets, but i do agree the stuff they stick on for the kids is brutal. They are pretty shit but thats just my opinion!!!!!

Might have to watch Mother’s Day, considering it’s out of print and ridiculously priced on Amazon. Hopefully they stock back up when the remake is released.
