  • One thing that I just absolutely love about the book was the description of Pinhead which goes something like…

“across his entire head was an intricate grid with a jeweled pin driven up to the hilt…” (not verbatim)

All I’m trying to say is that the book was utterly fantastic and would like to discuss it? Any interesting interpretations…[Read more]

    • ‘The Hellbound Heart’ now seems something extra extraordinary and special because of where the franchise took the Pinhead character. In the book Pinhead (or Lead Cenobite) was ambiguous…an androgynous, perhaps even female, certainly not the major character but a servant of hell. The films downplayed the dark sexuality of the cenobites to an…[Read more]

    • Fantastic read. I read it during my time in college.

    • It’s been about ten years but I remember that too. Has anyone heard anything about when Scarlet Gospels is going to be released? I love Clive but he’s been a little flaky of late.

  • All the news about our favorite show, and in my ‘umble opinion, the best horror show on ANY kind of television. If you’ve got something, throw it up here.

    • Possible Episode Titles:

      5.11: Sam, Interrupted
      5.12: Swap Meat
5.13: Back to the Future II
      5.14: My Bloody Valentine
5.15: Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid
5.16: Your Whole Life Flashes Before Your Eyes

Bear in mind, these are always subject to change, but might give us a very slight idea of what’s to come. 5.13 and 14 sound particularly interesting.

    • An Interview with Misha Collins and Julie McNiven can be found here:

    • Another returning character!!!

According to his Twitter, Chad Lindberg, (Ash) is coming back to film an episode in January. Probably as a ghost or demon or something, but if we’re lucky, he escaped the fire at the roadhouse.

    • New episode week after January 14.

    • It seems that Supernatural won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite TV Sci-Fi/Fantasy show!! Fucking A!!!

Besides that, TNT has started running the program from season one around 9 AM weekdays. Good Deal.

I’ve read the next episode, “Sam, Interrupted” will be set in a mental hospital. Sam and Dean check in to help a fellow hunter and end…[Read more]

    • A bit of new news…

The shows on another break again, until the 25th of next month. Sux.

But season six has been OFFICIALLY confirmed. When asked about the Apocalypse storyline going into next year, Sera Gamble said it would be over this season. I thought it good news and a bit odd as they’ve got a lot of ends to tie up. And, what will…[Read more]

    • Well, it seems that Jensen had to pass on the upcoming Captain America movie due to scheduling conflicts…that’s good and bad as I really woulda liked to see him playing the part but don’t wanna lose my favorite show.

    • No Bobby Nooooo. And good on ya Jared. Can’t wait for new episodes.

    • Here’s the CWs official synopsis for an upcoming episode called “Dark Side Of The Moon”, airing April 1st I believe:

“SAM AND DEAN ARE KILLED AND GO TO HEAVEN — Ambushed by angry hunters, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are shot and killed and sent to Heaven. Castiel (Misha Collins) warns Dean that Zachariah (guest star Kurt…[Read more]

    • Well, the latest news isn’t really much for news…it seems the next episode will be having Crowley offering the brothers a way to collect the other Horseman rings in an effort to stop the apocalypse. Other than that…still waiting on the oh so huge sounding 100th episode!

    • No real news, even with the final episode “Swan Song” approaching. It seems that the Winchesters have one last chance to stop Lucifer, and looks like it may cost Sam his life.

However, I have seen some pics from the final episode, and it doesn’t look good. I’m thinking the next season will have the brothers trying to find a way to either…[Read more]

    • Congrats to Jensen! He just got married to Danneel Harris from One Tree Hill this past Saturday.

    • I didn’t expect any real news on the show so soon, much less what could be bad news. Anyone who knows about the ratings drop for Smallville also knows it came when the show was moved to Fridays at 9, when it’s target audience is most distracted by other things.
It seems now that Supernatural’s new season will air Fridays at 9, following…[Read more]

    • I’ve learned that the CW’s recent press release about the schedule move was accompanied by a summary for the upcomeing season. Here’s the more interesting part, as the rest just recapped this last year.

    • Man I am pissed if the post about the new time slot is true, that might just have the ratings drop by like 30 % come on. The description sounds good on the new season though. Sounds like it is going back to it’s roots with them just hunting but dealing with problems between them, now more then ever. Cass the new sheriff in town up there.

    • In case anyone missed the news, we’ll be getting a Supernatural Anime series soon. Here’s the link. For some reason it was under the comics section on this very site…

    • Yeah, the timeslot move is gonna cost them a lot. I’ve said before that the move is what’s really killing Smallville. The ratings drop happened as soon as the move did. • lmao that’s so true, chicks do dig them, and they already did Nikita like in the nineties why the hell make another show, and it probably will get canceled, like dollhouse I don’t even think that show’s on any more, now lets give Supernatural back it’s spot and everyone will be happy.

    • Damn double post again.

    • “-According to Examiner, Jensen Ackles will be directing an episode of the show’s sixth season. There have been rumors for a while that we was going to direct, and it looks like season 6 will finally be his time to step behind the camera on Supernatural.

    • Friday, September 24

That’s the date the next season starts, following the season priemiere of Smallvilles final year. Lets hope the move doesn’t screw the ratings!

    • Awesome, getting really excited for this, and that’s not that far away only about 2 months can’t wait. It’ll be cool to see Jensen’s episode when he directs it, see what he will do differently, maybe throw in some awesome camera angles and go overboard on special effects and blood.

    • Well, apparently Season 6 is already cooking. Production began with cast and crew in Vancouver on the 30th of last month, almost a full month early. The first episode they’re working on? “Weekend At Bobby’s”, the fourth ep. which is the one Ackles is directing!

The episode is going to focus on Bobby, with Kim Rhodes (Sheriff Mills from “Dead…[Read more]

    • It seems we have yet another familiar (although sinister) face returning this season! None other than Azazel! And not just someone azazel is possessing, but the actor Frederic Lehne will be back to take the role up again.

    • Just read some interesting news on Entertainment Weekly about why Kripke left his position and what else he’s going to do on the show. It also has some information on the new season, and what role there Grandpa will play. Here is the article.

    • I’ve been away from the group WAY to long, and for that I apologize.

Ok, not really. After all, I made this group for everyone to talk about the show with others who like it. What do ya need me for?

But it does feel good to be back with some fellow fans.

ANYWAY…I have gotten the latest bit of news about a new episode coming up sometime…[Read more]

    • Actually, I heard they were going to Jensen and Jared, not just run into them. Although that could be wrong…

I personally think its a cool idea, and if anyone can pull it off its Supernatural. I just wish Geniveive Cortese wasn’t coming back for it (as Jared’s wife) as I don’t like her acting.[Read more]

    • Coming up in February, there is going to be an episode called Gallows Pole, where the boys (and I think Cas) go back to the Old West 1861 to find Samuel Colt. It’ll definitely be interesting to see how they do this, especially since Supernatural is described as a modern western anyway.

      Link: [Read more]

    • Yeah I heard that. Sounds cool. I’ve always wanted to know the origin of The Colt. I thought that at one time they had plans to do a few episodes explaining that.

Also, Cas is getting a nifty new sidekick type angel named Rachel. I wonder if he’ll put any “pizza man” moves on her.

Episode 12: “Like A Virgin” – Dragons?! Dean, if he can prove…[Read more]

    • Chuck Shurley (Rob Benedict), will be back. Maybe we’ll find out if he really is the Lord, since we’re all pretty damn sure. But again, knowing that an episode this season will have the bros. “sliding” into our reality, he may be back as the shows creator.

    • Here’s something two weeks old that slipped by me…

Speaking to Jennifer Arrow with E! Online’s Watch with Kristin, CW chief Dawn Ostroff said:

    • I didn’t know about Chuck and Ellen coming back, it’ll be cool to see them again. As for “The French Mistake”, that’s supposedly going to be the episode where they enter the parallel universe.

    • The season has started off well, I’m liking this whole “Mother” idea they got going on. As for the whole alternate universe episode I think it will be really neat, it’s a good idea. I think they could have some fun with it.

    • Well, it’s the last hiatus of the season. There hasn’t been much news lately, just follow the link below. Be aware, there are some spoilers involved, concerning returning characters. Only six episodes left. Two of them will be a 2 part season finale. The new episodes will be starting up on April 15th.

Ep. 17: “My Heart Will Go On”
      Ep. 18:…[Read more]

    • Here are a couple of linx to articles. There are some spoilers for the rest of the season, but nothing major. Also, there’s som interesting trivia that people didn’t know before. This was published a week or so back, but if you haven’t read em, here they are:

I also wanted to remind everyone that Supernatural does repeat, in order, from…[Read more]

    • Well I don’t know about for sale, but I’ve seen bits and pieces of the anime series on Youtube, with English dubs. I wonder why they chose to do it Japanese? That just seems odd, since the series in English. But like I said, I’ve just seen the different parts. I don’t know if whole episodes are on there, but it seems like there is.

    • I found out what the synopsis for the next episode is. In the April 15th episode, My Heart Will Go On, Balthazar will change history by . How awesome is that? To make matters even better (or worse, depending on your point of view) Fate itself is going to come after them for it, and Cas tells Sam and Dean that they have to kill her to survive.[Read more]

the next ep Jensen is directing is ep 3 (“The Girl Next Door”), about Sam and a girl who saved his life at 15. So, lots of flashbacks.
