cheluvshorror posted an update in the group Saw fanatic!! November 2, 2009 10:25 am
I had the pleasure of viewing (maybe?) the last installment of the Saw series. I feel the 6th one was excellent in a sick “twisted” way.
I can appreciate the societal messages being addressed here.Did anyone else see this installment and if u did be candid about your thoughts on it!! Thanks!

I saw it Halloween night and was absolutely floored by it!!! From the insane beginning to the jaw dropping end, this entry was firing on all cylinders. I was kind of tiring of the Saw series with the last couple of sequels, but part VI has got me hooked again big time….The way this ends you can’t help but be anticipating part VII:mrgreen:

I am already longing for a 7th. I like this series better Friday the 13th not that they are even in the same league of horror.
This franchise has intelligence and meaning and makes you think! Yes, its gruesome but isn’t that what us infected members want!?!
I was so enthralled by this version and I had more compassion for Jig Saw than I ever…[Read more]

I loved the scene where they have Detective Hoffman go down to the voice analyzing lab because they think it’s him & he brutally kills them all:shock:
There wasn’t very many people that saw it when I did either but the one’s that did commented on how much they liked it as they were leaving….
-
That scene was pretty predictable I must say. I saw Hoffman looking at the other Fed detectives gun and how the other female detective was suspicious. Cool killing sequences.
-
Everyone keeps talking about the 6th installment. Should be good haha. Can’t wait. Then ill be caught up with the rest of the Saw fans.
-
You will not be disappointed! Everything comes full circle in this installment. Genius film making! Thanks for joining and the pix!!
:) -
Yeah, from what I have seen it has all been smart movies. I love movies that mess with your head and make you think.
-
YES! Another intelligent member on this site!!
 Did you see Saw VI yet? You have to see it on the big screen. Movie goers actually clapped at the end. What a rush that is when people clap at the end of an awesome movie. -
I have not seen it yet. I will have to wait till it comes out on DVD. Kinda lame going to movies by myself. Why I would have to go by myself, is because no one really likes horror that I hang out with. How about that, huh? haha. And it turns out of course I am a BIG horror fan (of course because I am a member of this website/forum) and my fiance…[Read more]

Hey now! I see horror film alone all the time! I saw H2 by myself, but it does not bother me. Its a little piece of “heaven” that I enjoy just for me. Unfortunately, the only other person who loves horror as much as my self, is my brother, but he lives hours away. But do not feel sorry for me. In my opinion in order to gain the full effect of a…[Read more]

Yeah, you are right. Maybe I should start going to these things by myself haha. As long as there isn’t jackasses talking I’m cool with that. That is actually another reason why I don’t really go to movies that often. We got a big screen TV with Surround sound anyways. Not quite the same effect but close enough for me. 1. I get the good audio and…[Read more]

Michael Myers Inc. November 2, 2009 6:18 amWhats up everybody, how u guys doin? So, I was just thinking to myself who they would pick to direct Halloween 3D. I just wanted to know if you could choose who would YOU have direct the movie? My pick would be Alex Aja(High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes Remake). I think Alex would really do a lot of cool stuff with Michael and the Halloween story.…[Read more]

I would want to stick with Rob Zombie, but I guess they are on the fence about that?!! I loved the two installments he did already and it would be a “crying shame” if Zombie jumps ship on his the masterpieces he created, thus far.
:) -
I see your point, but theres just something about 3D that Rob really doesn’t like, I don’t know, its not his style you know. Cause I saw an interview where he said “absolutely not” to a Halloween 3, but thats what he said last time so, who knows.
-
Then he should direct it in non-3D, because I do not like 3D anything really. It gives me a head ache. I just do not want his vision to get lost or revamped by some one else. That always happens when people take over directing movies for new installments.
Thanks for the info. on Zombie for I did not realize he did not want to do 3D. See he know…[Read more]

Rob Zombie should continue his Halloween story but when he said ‘you won’t believe why I’m not coming back’ I knew something was up! Then the announcement it’s a reboot with likely on Michael returning I was like ‘what the fuck’ but now I realize well they want it in 3D only My Bloody Valentine handled 3D the right way so now they wrote it and now…[Read more]

JOHN CARPENTER…..yeah that’s not gonna happen.nick castle, the original myers is actually a director himself-that would be interesting.if patrick lussier is directing it fine but stop talking & start filming already-halloween will be here again before you know it!!
-
i think dwight h little should come back.
-
I think that they should’ve kept Patrick Lussier, he would’ve done an amazing job. Well, maybe they can get him back. besides him i would say either get Scott Glosserman (Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon) or Nelson McCormick (The Stepfather remake). I think either of them would do an excellent job.
