R.L. Stine’s New ‘Fear Street’ Book ‘You May Now Kill the Bride’ Gets Awesome Retro Cover

A few years before becoming a household name with the mega popular Goosebumps series, R.L. Stine launched Fear Street in 1989, a series that was geared towards a bit of an older crowd than Stine soon found his niche with.

The Fear Street series took place in the town of ShadySide, Ohio and centered around teenagers fending for their lives against various monsters and madmen. Fear Street and its many spin-offs came to an end in 1999, but a revival of the series back in 2014 has to date seen the release of six new books in the last few years.

This year, new series Return to Fear Street begins with You May Now Kill the Bride, and we’ve got the cover and details for Stine’s latest horror story!

“In this all-new Fear Street story, family ties bind sisters together—till DEATH do they part. Two sisters, divided by time. Each with a terrible resentment she can barely contain.

Two Fear family weddings, decades apart… Each bride will find that the ancient curse that haunts the Fears LIVES ON. It feeds off the evil that courses through their blood. It takes its toll in unexpected ways, and allows dark history to repeat itself.”

You May Now Kill the Bride will be released July 24, 2018.
