Cover Art and Plot for R.L. Stine’s New ‘Fear Street’ Book ‘The Wrong Girl’

Before becoming a household name thanks to the mega popular Goosebumps series, R.L. Stine launched Fear Street in 1989, a series that was geared towards a bit of an older crowd than the one Stine soon found his niche with.

The Fear Street series took place in the town of ShadySide, Ohio and centered around teenagers fending for their lives against various monsters and madmen. Fear Street and its many spin-offs came to an end in 1999, but a revival of the series back in 2014 has to date seen the release of six new books in the last few years.

This year, new series Return to Fear Street begins with You May Now Kill the Bride, releasing on July 24. We now know it’ll be followed by The Wrong Girl on September 25.

In the all-new Fear Street story…

“Poppy Miller swears she will get payback for Jack Sabers’s cruel prank that humiliated her in front of all her friends. Then her classmates start turning up dead. All eyes are on Poppy. Is Poppy being framed? Or did the kids of Shadyside High mess with the wrong girl?”
