Published

We tend to fill screenings so we’ve been provided with a whopping 75 admit-two passes to see The Dark Tower here in Chicago next Wednesday, August 2, at the AMC River East 21 (322 E. Illinois St. Chicago, IL 60611).

To get your hands on a pair of tickets to be the first to see the latest Stephen King adaptation, all you have to do is CLICK HERE and RSVP! Showing starts at 7PM and seats are limited, so make sure you arrive early to guarantee admittance.

The film is not a direct adaptation of any of the books in the series from author Stephen King but rather a “canon continuation” of the story presented in the novels.

The last Gunslinger, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), has been locked in an eternal battle with Walter O’Dim, also known as the Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey), determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. With the fate of the worlds at stake, good and evil will collide in the ultimate battle. Fran Kranz, Jackie Earle Haley, Abbey Lee, and Kathryn Winnick also star.

The Dark Tower was directed by Nikolaj Arcel and produced by Akiva Goldman, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and Erica Hughes.

Look for it on August 4, 2017.

[Contest] Win Bloody Disgusting’s Ultimate Holiday Horror Haul

Published

on

You know, the one silver lining to spooky season ending is that the holidays begin soon after. That means all the things that go bump in the night during October simply retreat into boxes with sharp bows or the shadows under your trees. These are deadly times, when even mistletoe can be deadly, and Bloody Disgusting never misses a chance to deliver a good scare.

In this case, we’re giving away several scares this year. Thanks to our friends at Lionsgate, we’ve put together The Ultimate Holiday Horror Haul, which is a big box chock full of your favorite horror titles from this year and yesteryear. Now, we don’t like to break tradition (as all gifts should be surprises), but here’s the full list of what one lucky US horror fan will receive:

Blair Witch & The Blair Witch Project Double Feature Walmart Exclusive Steelbook (Blu-ray + Digital Copy)

Saw 1-8 Walmart Exclusive Steelbook (Blu-ray + Digital Copy)

Rob Zombie’s Firefly Trilogy Walmart Exclusive Steelbook (Blu-ray + Digital Copy)
