RLJE Films will release Joe Lynch’s violent action/horror film Mayhem (read our review) on DVD, Blu-ray, and Ultra High-Definition 4K/Blu-ray combo on December 26, 2017.

To celebrate the release, Bloody Disgusting has (1) mini-poster signed by not only Lynch, but also stars Steven Yeun (“The Walking Dead,” Okja) and Samara Weaving (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, MissouriThe Babysitter, “SMILF”)! In the film, “Derek Cho (Steven Yeun) is having a really bad day. After being unjustly fired from his job, he discovers that the law firm’s building is under quarantine for a mysterious and dangerous virus. Chaos erupts throughout the office as the victims of the disease begin acting out their wildest impulses. Joining forces with a former client (Samara Weaving) who has a grudge of her own, Derek savagely fights tooth and nail to get to the executives on the top floor and settle the score once and for all.”

    I mean this was alright, but I personally think ‘The Belko Experiment’ was executed much better than this. I think this one aimed to be more whacky and on a don’t take it too seriously type of level, where as ‘TBE’ was more of the opposite. And I know they weren’t identical films with one being a virus and the other being a straight up kill or be killed situation, but they both deal with being trapped in a office building so……..
