Match the Zombies to Their Films

So, you think you’re a connoisseur of the zombie genre, eh? Think you’ve seen them all, know them like the back of your hand, and could survive any zombie apocalypse scenario? Well, let’s put that to the test, shall we?

Below is a fun quiz that asks you to identify which zombie belongs in which movie. Just let the quiz present the movie title and then select the appropriate pictures.

If you’re the competitive type, know that I nailed it, getting a score of 15 out of 15. So check out these zombies and see if you can beat me!

  • Kory Rye

actually it is the evil dead 2 and bride of reanimator

  • Frank Lloyd Jr.

A couple of errors. Kathleen Kinmont was in Bride of Reanimator not Reanimator. Henrietta and Ed were in Evil Dead 2, not the original film.

    • J Jett

Frank and the RES EVIL question was technically RE:AFTERLIFE. also the test maybe should clarify which DAWN OF THE DEAD it’s referring to. 🙂

      • Frank Lloyd Jr.

Did we really score 100% if we had to give the wrong answer to the questions to get the 100%?

        • J Jett

          Frank, good question! LOL. 🙂

    • Nikku-Chan

      I officially give you a 120% lol

  • Frank Lloyd Jr.

Technically, the “Evil Dead” are not zombies, they are possessed by evil spirits.

    • SuperKilla

So true and 28 days later does not have zombies. I still don’t know how people can’t understand that.

      • ThunderDragoon

The creator of 28 Days Later himself has said they’re zombies, so they’re definitely zombies.

        • SuperKilla

Poor Danny Boyle. He’s a talented filmmaker and doesn’t even know that a zombie is a human that dies and comes back to life or they’re undead I should say. The people in his film are alive and they are infected with rage. He may have been inspired by zombie films for some of the slow movements in the film, but I also stand by these rage infected humans running in this film because again, they are not zombies. It makes sense for them to run due to being filled with so much rage.

          • Leebo

I’m actually hoping that later in the “Days Later” franchise the virus mutates and actually resurrects the dead, so that there is the dual risk of “rage” infected, who can be killed and “zombies” that cannot, not even by a head shot.

    • CaptainHowdy

      Very true! They’re deadites.

  • J Jett

100% for me! i wasn’t great in school/grades but at least i got a 100% on my zombie test! lol.

  • EvilWhiteMale

  • elpinche

    93% . Where’s my brain-flavored cookie?

  • Bobby Jones

100%, would’ve been more accurate to match the zombie to their franchise

  • ChasingTheGhost

  • Redsam6

  • Phendranah

  • RawBeard

I got one wrong. I second guessed myself on the 28 Days one. Dammit

  • jason4eva

    100 baby!:)

  • KyleRainer

    100 % baby^^

  • ModernGrace

    100%. I guess it’s my genre.

  • Josh

If only some of these were actually zombies, the test is a fail in itself.

  • Jimmy Black

    That’s a really sweet voting system you used – I liked that….

  • Rourke Keegan

    100. It might’ve been harder if they werent all such… I dunno, box art zombies? They’re all the most iconic images from each of those films. I’d like to see a new game + version with less prominent zombie photos.

  • estrus

Got one wrong, mistook the WWZ for the Resisent Evil zombie.

  • Ryan

    phat hundy

  • JB

94% but the choices should’ve been more specific with the movies i. e. Bride Of Reanimator not Reanimator.

  • Mason James Cole

There isn’t a zombie from RE-ANIMATOR on this list, and the two zombies listed as being from THE EVIL DEAD are actually from EVIL DEAD 2.

  • John Connor

    100% That was too easy.

  • 100%. Come on you should have put more 🙂
