Now, it’s no secret that horror movies have a strange relationship with women. There’s a constant battle to show that women are just as capable as men in our genre and there are definitely many examples that prove it (Ripley, Nancy, Laurie, etc…). But there is without a doubt an issue of sexualizing the very people we’re supposed to be rooting for as they go through horrific scenarios. But since Hollywood seems to think they know what’s best for a film, they almost always choose a sexy, beautiful woman for the part.

And that’s why for today’s entry in our ‘9 Days Of Mushroomhead Top 5 Lists‘ series, we turn to guitarist Church for his Top 5 Horror Flicks With Hot, Bloody Chicks! The objectification of women may be a serious problem (it most certainly is) but that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate what was as we look to better what will be. Head below for this list!

Jessica Biel – Texas Chainsaw Massacre

To have a body and hips like that while bloody and screaming AND a cowboy hat! I think ole Leatherface was supporting more steel than just in his chainsaw!

There’s nothing hot about Jamie Lee Curtis. Her tits are great, back then, but she’s not a hot bloody chick by any stretch.

I always thought she was very pretty but I never found her to be beautiful.

I heard rumors she was born with both male and female parts. She did have some manly quality’s about her tbh at times in her movies but in many movies i still found her pretty hot. Of course True Lies is the # 1. I hope that doesn’t make me gay i am straight XD but shit i can’t lie. In Halloween II for a split second she falls out of a window, her gown goes up and her bare arse shows, she has a nice ace!

    Agreed on Biel.

Honorable/recent mentions for Sharni Vinson in You’re Next, Jane Levy in Evil Dead, & the woman, who’s playing Santanico Pandemonium on From Dusk Till Dawn
