Parental Abuse In This Exclusive ‘Found’ Clip

It was announced the other day that XLrator Media had acquired the indie horror pic Found, a coming-of-age slasher about a fifth grader (Gavin Brown) grappling with the secret knowledge that his beloved older bro (Ethan Philbeck) is a serial killer.

Directed by Scott Schirmer, Bloody Disgusting has your first clip in which one character stands up for his brother against his father and kicks the shit out of him!

Found will get an August 15 theatrical, VOD and iTunes release via XLrator’s Macabre genre label.

Marty is the ideal fifth grader. He gets good grades, listens to his teachers, and doesn’t start trouble in class. But a darkness is beginning to fall over Marty’s life. The kids at school won’t stop picking on him, his parents just don’t seem to understand him, and now Marty must grapple with a terrible secret that threatens to destroy life as he knows it — his big brother is a serial killer! Brotherly love is put to the ultimate test in this emotional coming-of-age story that descends into unspeakable horror.

i really liked this movie. the gore in the movie within the movie (where most of the gore is from as seen in the pix) was great. the twisted and disturbing brotherly love Steven has for his little brother Marty was very interesting and heartbreaking (and actually touching). i also liked that (without spoiling anything) some of the kills were done off screen and we just hear what’s happening. it makes it much more disturbing.

    Found is…
    Great Narratively
    Decently shot indie film
    OK acting
    A low budget gem

Keep an eye out for this one.

I saw this movie the other night and I loved everything about it. Well, almost everything…. The story was great, the premise was unique and nicely done, and the blood and gore (while very fake looking) was intense. But, man, the acting was fucking horrendous. Seriously, the only talented person in that entire cast was the killer brother. Everyone else was just painful to watch. It was worse than a Syfy movie in that regard. With a bigger budget, and a talented cast, this would have been a real winner.

Chamber, i thought the young actor playing little Marty was pretty decent (especially for someone his age).
