I own this movie on DVD and have watched it several times. It is a very beautiful film with some spectacular fight sequences. It is a trifle long, but patience will be rewarded for watching this complex and character driven story. Equal parts horror, romance and social commentary, I would not recommend this for the average horror fan. I would, however, highly recommend this for anyone looking for an intelligent, touching and, at times, horrifying movie (man is the true monster in this movie, since he acts upon his own free will and not out of instinct).

Fantastic mix of Horror an action. Very well done. But make sure you watch with subtitles. I typoically hate dubbing, and the voice actors who dub on this are some of the worst of all time. If you want to take this film seriously, either watch with subtitles or learn french.

French film with good fight scenes, good acting, great scenery and a monster from hell. This is not a horror movie but a good movie with a story being told. Beware 2 hours and 25 minutes tends to make it feel very long at times. Worth watching if you don’t want to watch a horror movie.

Very cool movie. Not all what you would think it is. And just when you think you got it figured out, it turns you on your head. Very intelligent, very engaging movie. It’s very unique.

Top notch action, wonderful design & casting. Simply an amazing movie, if I had any complaint it’s that the films pretty long, but it’s never boring. It’s also based on a true story which makes it all the more interesting!

This movie is horror? Just because the movie revolves around a rumored monster? Don’t expect a horror movie guys. While “Brotherhood of the Wolf” is a great film it’s more along the lines of a Sherlock Holmes style mystery (with some grade A fighting scenes thrown in). 1 skull for the indian, 1 skull for the creepy one-armed guy, 2 skulls for the action scenes, 1 skull for the intriguing story, and -1/2 skull for being French.

Awful and is more over-dramatic than a Boll film.Cool monster and weird fight scenes with really cheesy love story. Not a fan but was watchable just for the fact that is strange as hell.

Official Score: 4 / 5
