brutal
this is probably the worst, most-offensive movie you’ll ever see, & imo on par with salo. i saw a bootlegged copy years ago, & all i can say is everything is pushed to the extreme. it’s all about sex with the dead, & other taboo subjects. (there’s animal mutilation too, so if that offends you stay away.) low-budget, cheap, yet unforgettable in it’s graphic indulgence, you’ll remember this one whether you like it or not.
Boy works for road clean-up service, boy collects body parts in jars, with girl, boy finds body, brings it home to girl. Boy and girl have sex with body. Girl leaves boy, and takes corpse with her. Boy stabs himself to death while having a violent, bloody orgasm.
While this is a film I’m proud to have in my collection, i’ve watched it maybe twice in ten years. Don’t expect to have sex anytime soon after watching. I give it a top rating, as it is as disturbing as it intended to be, the effects are believable, and, yeah. Shocking.
The start of the German gore explosion came with Jorg Buttgereits masterpiece. Truly taboo trashing low budget movie that seeps into your bones and stays with you for ever. Many a nightmare will be driven by this gem of a film.
I would have to say this is the most disturbing movie I’ve ever watched in all the years I’ve been watching movies. The film is very brutal in the way it presents itself and till the end “which is laughable” is a truly disturbing experience. I’d recommend this to just about anyone thats never seen it but its only to be viewed once and it will stick with ya.
Ah. The infamous romance film for necrophiliacs.
This movie made my dick hard.
J/K it is cool though.
Ok maybe i got a lil chubby………..
I was looking for that one for a long time, and when I got it, I was like “What the…?!” The effects are like in Cannibal Holocaust, so, totally gore and brutal. And slimy. But the scene with the rabbit was like a cherry on a sundae. All in all, you got to have a stomach for this one.
Nekromantik 2 I would give a 10, but I don’t like this one too much, just random garbage.
Nekromantik 1-2 are probably my favorite movies of all time. They compete with each other for all-time best endings to any movie. This is a love story, between people and the corpses they have sex with. If you like disturbing twisted movies make sure to check out the Nekromatik series.
Well aside from the animal killing abd dirty german pissing I sadly enjoyed this movie… It was everything I expect from German film making lol… so I was not disapointed. I only have to question the sanity of anyone willing to partake in necrophila. But Nekromantick was a good stylish film that delt with some very dark issues… I enjoyed this movie for everything it was and everything it wasn’t. I give Nekromantick 9 out 0f 10 just for the led pipe with the condom on it … nasty ass Nekros
As a “film” it rates poorly for story and character development. It ranks highly though as an exercise in the obscure, grotesque, and taboo breaking sub-genre of art house gore. This is not high art, but it never intends to be. It is instead a love story of sorts between the living and the dead. It depicts not just the act of “loving” the dead, but shows the extreme psychology and perversion one would have to have to effectively execute the act of necrophilia. The effects are pretty top notch, if sometimes slightly silly, for such a low budget endeavor. Considering this film was made more than 20 years ago in a Germany still divided, this film breaks down walls between decency and perversity long before the Berlin wall ever fell. It is an endurance test of sorts, and will attempt to offend you at nearly every scene. Gore, necromanticism, animal slaughter, abnormal psychology, and an oddly effective and unnerving soundtrack that almost parodies the subject matter at times makes for a unique, if somewhat unsettling excursion in the limits of grotesque and indecent human behavior. This is a Litmus test for true horror geeks only, and not recommended to casual fans of the genre. However, should you have a strong constitution, iron gullet, and curiosity for life’s darkest subject matters; then this is a must view.
I thought it was going to be very gory but it wasn;t that bad at all, I guess seen to many gory videos I have seen. It was strange that I can say for sure and I thought the hooker would of become his girlfriend but I guess it was the same as Betty, I guess losing a girl like that would be hard to replace. The rabbit was not that bad because it was a small animal so not much gory going on.
Undoubtedly one of the grossest and most disgusting movies ever made. If there’s one German horror movie you wanna watch before you die, this one must be it. Nasty, shocking, disturbing and taboo-breaking from beginning to the end. The acting is lame and the dialogue is horrid but this is excusable. NEKRomantik is a film you absolutely will never forget.
This is definitely one sick and twisted movie. Good luck getting your hands on a decent copy though. If you are even slightly repulsed by strange sexual activities, this one is NOT for you. Apart from that, the director succeeded in making a movie that held my interest with almost no dialogue throughout the film. The visual style put on the screen is something similar to Sam Raimi’s style of the eighties, so the shots and perspectives are always interesting to watch.
A little fucked up in twisted but i guess it appelies to people who like necrophilia.
From the very beginning to the very end this film was made to shock, offend and repulse… and it does so very, very well. When I first watched this film I was expecting a low-budget, semi-watchable 80′s horror. What I ended up with was a low-budget, highly enjoyable film with images that will forever be burned into my memory. Easily in my top ten personal favourites. 10/10 WATCH THIS FILM!
Bad ass and NEKROmantic 2 is even more bad ass! Fuck the haters
This film is sick beyond comprehension. The words “vile”, “disgusting”, and “depraved” don’t do it justice. No one in their right minds should like this. It also happens to be one of my favorite movies. It’s the only love story I can appreciate, mostly because it dares to go where most people are simply afraid to. The music is absolutely breathtaking in its beauty. To show a scene of corpse fucking while playing a lovely tune on the piano is genius. It makes the scene stick in your head.
Necrophilia is fucking gross. I would never partake in the act myself. So why do I love this movie so much? It’s a metaphor for love. Love can be beautiful, but it can also cause more agony than anything else. Love is a strange thing. Instead of focusing on how wonderful love can be, this film focuses on how dark it can be. Rob’s girlfriend leaves him for a corpse. Haven’t we all experienced something like this? Someone we love leaving us for someone we know can’t love them as much as we do, but they leave anyway. Love is as disgusting as it is beautiful, just like Nekromantik. It’s hard to find beauty in a world of filth. This movie looks to the filth to find its beauty.
good enough. not as good as people are saying but does have some real good individual parts in the movie
