Now this is also a great ginger snaps movie but Katharine Isabelle is not the main character..bummer!! but its still good kreepy and bloody!!
loved it
I liked this movie it is the best one out of all the ginger snaps but i have to say this movie had its bad parts
I really enjoyed this film.
This is a decent follow-up to the phenomenal 2000 film Ginger Snaps. This movie has considerably darker tones, and all of the locations look gritty and dirty. The story is okay (it has a horrifying twist at the end that I never saw coming), but it is the sound that stands out. This movie has some of the best sound that I’ve ever heard, from stress-inducing electronica to the sound of grinding machines whenever our heroin (no pun intended) injects her Wolfsbane.
On the other hand, Emily Perkins looks completely different than she did in 2000, almost to the point of being unrecognizable as Bridget. My other gripe is the fact that the gorgeous Katherine Isabelle isn’t in this movie except for a few flashbacks and various sequences.
That being said, fans of the first one will probably enjoy the second one, but it is still the weakest entry in the series.
This sequel wasn’t even close to the original. It’s pretty bad when a little girl named ghost is the real monster. What a letdown.
It wasn’t bad but not like the first one…but good rental.
i knew you could never beat the first one i mean how could they?, that was a great movie, this was just ok, watchable, but not worthy of ginger snaps status.
Definitely was high up on the “holy-shit!” meter. The ending is a shocker!
I only watched this because I liked the first one so much, but unfortunetly it wasn’t anything like the first one. I guess it was okay, but not really what I was expecting. I also didn’t like the ending.
Definitely not as good as the first Ginger Snaps, it is still a decent sequel. There is a noticeable gap left by the original “Ginger” not being a full-time character in this one. “B” is still good as the main sister/character for this installment, but the sisterly interaction being limited to just a few appearances kind of takes some life out of the movie. The ending was not what I expected, but that is why I liked it.
I loved the first ginger snaps but this was just absolute garbage, to the point it was almost painful to sit through and for the first time in years, I actually contemplated turning the movie off half way through. The “twist” ending was completely predictable.
Nothing interesting, fun, scary or different about this movie at all, give it a miss.
Not as good as the first, but way better than the 3rd. this one feels a lot darker than the first film. emily perkins does a great job again as brigette. sadly, ginger(katie isabelle) isn’t in this one as much, she has like 4 scenes but only as a “ghost” or figment of brigette’s imagination. the character of Ghost was very annoying to me, I didn’t like her at all, and the ending was a bit of a let down, but all in all I liked it and thought it was a very good continuation of the story.
The director went for something new and it didn’t work out for him at all. Although the film is nothing on the first its still worth the watch if you’re in to this trilogy.
Just ok as the first one.
Expect more a of a psychological edge in this one, there’s less werewolf action.
I would definately say the ginger snaps 2 is mostly on par with the original. What it lacks in purpose it makes up for in sheer creativity and professional execution. Picking up pretty much with original left off Bridget finds herself dealing with the transformation at a mental institution where she befriends a mysterious girl named ghost and some other interesting characters. All the while being targeted by a male werewolf intent on mating with her. Sure it doesn’t sound as good as the original but the results are truly intriguing. what could have gone in a completely generic direction takes some very unique and memorable turns. In the end it all feels just a tad bit too silly but you won’t see it coming and it makes for one hell of a ride.
Not as good as the first film but still enjoyable.
I watched this movie again a few weeks ago, and I realized that its an awesome movie and the best Ginger Snaps movie.
