The best horror/comedy ever filmed… and one of the best zombie movies ever made. This rivals any of Romero’s efforst and Dan O’Bannon’s brilliant, ‘Return of the Living Dead’. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are wonderfully likeable heroes, Edgar Wright’s direction is impeccable, and the violence/laughs are non-stop. Fantastic film.

Wonderful story, wonderful camera/editing work, wonderful acting…There is nothing bad about this movie. Shaun of the Dead is as close to perfection as any horror/comedy fan could hope for.

Wait, 2 seconds… Shaun Of The Dead is incredible from start to finish and never misses a beat. It is insanely gory and wickedly funny. This movie is easily one the best zombie films of all time! Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are an excellent duo and are equally as awesome in Hot Fuzz. The next time they hook up in a movie like Shaun Of The Dead or Hot Fuzz, you be certain that it would be a kick@$$ film.

When I first saw advertisment for this movie I was thinking it was slamming my favorite kind of movies but once I saw it I couldn’t help but love it. It’s gory and funny and just a kick ass movie. I love this movie and it’s on my Christmas List for this year!

Easily one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen. Absolutely priceless homage to and parody of zombie films, with that perfect British twist. One of my all-time favorite movies of ANY genre!

This film is hilarious, the one liners are great and they have fantastic characters. I also love the way its so laid back, you can just sit back and let the tv do all the work. The storys funny as well as original. Whenever theres a film with simon pegg and nick frost directed by edgar qright you know it’s gonna be an absolute hoot! This is a must watch! BUT BEWARE! The humour in this is very british!

one of the best horror/comedy/zombie/apocalyptic movies ever made, and one of the only tolerable romantic comedies out there. love the characters and their british sense of humor. written very well for a movie that has so many genres within itself. love how they make fun of the zombies and their genre, without doing it negatively. i mean it’s obvious that wright and pegg grew up with and love zombie movies as much as any other horror fan. idk, i can’t recommend this movie enough. even if you’re not a fan of british comedy, if you love zombies, then just go ahead and buy this.

Brilliant!! I never would have thought a comedy/horror would be this good. I consider this more of a horror movie with some comedy splashed in, the scene at the bar was gorefest and I loved every minute of it. If George A. Romero was pleased with this film then that is saying alot. You can’t get any better then Shaun of the dead!

This movie made me dream about snuggly zombies. Strange but true.

Don’t watch it if you hate funny things, or British humor, or zombies.

Do watch it with your best friends, a case of Mike’s Hard Lime and a huge bowl of cheesy popcorn. Cheesy and delicious, just like the movie. Then loan it to all your other friends so they’ll know what you mean when you tell them “You’ve got red on you.”

Shaun Of The Dead is comedy horror at it’s best. This proves that the British are the best for everything funny, and scary! A modern, stylish twist on zombie rampages, gore, guts, heads and shot guns, everything a good zombie horror should be. Shaun Of The Dead is hilarious, it’s funny one liners, hilarious cast and great funny zombies make is a side splitting adventure, literally! The soundtrack, acting, plot, script, horror, gore, blood, everything in this film is done perfectly, all the way until the amazing climax. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are at full throttle here, and will have you lauging for days!

    10/10

The best and only zombie satire movie you need to see. The only unfortunate thing is that this movie has gotten such praise that TONS of zombie-comedies had come out afterwards, all trying to ride this movie’s coattails.

Shaun Of The dead is exceptional. One of my favorite horror comedies. I believe it is better than Zombieland. The acting is superb, The comedy is hysterical, and The zombies are vicious. All in All, Shaun Of The Dead is a great film that is both scary and funny all at the same time. I highly recommend it.

Let’s get this straight, Simon Pegg is not funny. Never was, never will be. So, bearing in mind that we have established that the main character cannot act nor do comedy it only remains for me to warn anybody with a basic understanding of wit or humour to avoid this film like the plague, this one is for kids only.

“Shaun of the Dead” is a flawless, hilarious British comedy that deserves my personal pick for “Best Comedy of the 200′s”. Sure, there were a couple more that were great (one of them being Edgar Wright’s follow-up film to “Shaun”, “Hot Fuzz”). Oh, how I enjoy this film immensely.

What works so well about “Shaun of the Dead” is that it lives in a world where everyone acts like a zombie. Even our heroes do; retiring to the couch 24/7, and when an actual zombie apocalypse is on the rise, they manage to survive only because of their slacker-skills. That right there is a “slice of fried gold”. It’s enough so that I have taken this ride many times before, and I love it every single damn time. Wright must be a freaking genius.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are an unbeatable duo. However, Wright is kind of the glue that keeps them from falling apart; and he (along with Pegg) wrote some pretty clever dialogue. Aside from the pure golden dialogue and clever one-liners that both Frost and Pegg deliver, the other actors in the film to genuinely well. There’s so many damn British people that you almost feel overwhelmed. I know that I did.

I love this movie, I love Edgar Wright, and I love how the zombies- as a plot element- work so well amongst the slacker characters. Perhaps it comes to show that even if you’re fat, you can still wield a blunt object that will allow you enough time to live. I mean, the character of Ed lived longer than a man so overweight probably should have. That gives me some great hope, people. And it should do the same for you too!

Pretty damn funny. I love the fat slacker roommate and how people in general seem to act like zombies anyway … prior to the outbreak. Good for some belly laughs and cheap entertainment. This movie goes well with some friends and a few pints. It’s a good thing guns are not illegal in this country. Those poor Brits will be in real trouble when the zombie shit hits the fan. LOL.

Hilarious, and sometimes a little tense. A must-see if you like zombies.

ALMOST as good as Hot Fuzz. Damn, these guys are great together.

Great use of comedy, lovable characters, I felt like the tense/sad part when they’re in the bar, was a little out of the frame of the movie. It was comedy up until that point, then it just felt awkward. It would’ve been a great scene if the whole movie was strict horror, not comedy. But hey, still one epic movie.

The film is a testament to the variety possible in the zombie genre. It’s a nearly perfect blend of horror and comedy, and the timing is excellent. Tension builds, and sometimes the climax of a scene is shocking action, but equally as often, a funny gag breaks the tension. It’s creepy and hilarious. I loved it.
