Rob Zombie’s Big Movie Announcement… Soon.

After a world tour and a new album, shock-rocker turned director Rob Zombie is gearing up to make a huge movie announcement: “Big movie news announcement coming soon. Finally,” the ex-White Zombie singer stated via Twitter. Zombie had recently been attached to direct a redo of The Blob, along with a sequel to The Devil’s Rejects, which is a sequel to his debut film House of 1,000 Corpses. In conjunction with Holland’s latest Twisted Tale entitled “Vampire’s Dance,” the writer/director returned to his seductive vampire roots established with his 1985 horror classic Fright Night. This newest tale centers around chance encounters and the seductive temptation of the ‘vampire’s dance’ when a young woman (Lisa McClowry) heads to a dance club in search of her missing roommate. Rob Zombie Thinking ‘The Devil’s Rejects Part 2′?

With Rob Zombie’s Gruesome Twosome Tour all said and done, the rocker could be heading back to the director’s chair any for any one of variety of films. On the horizon could be The Blob, the second remake about a alien creature that grows after consuming living organisms. There’s his badass biker vs wrestler flick Tyrannosaurus Rex, which is being shopped around the town. Another potential project is a feature version of Werewolf Women of the S.S.. The original short was a faux trailer included on the full-length Grindhouse. Rodriguez is releasing his Machete later this year. Then Zombie has a fourth project, one that we didn’t know about until today. Zombie asked his readers today on his official blogspot what movie they’d like to see next. All of the above are mentioned alongside The Devil’s Rejects Part 2, a sequel to his House of 1,000 Corpses sequel that starred Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon, among many others. New Preview Clip from Halo-8′s Animated ‘Godkiller’

Halo-8 has given Bloody Disgusting an exclusive look a pretty cool brand new preview clip for the illustrated-film Godkiller, whose first episode comes to DVD this Tuesday Oct 6th. The clip that can be viewed beyond the break is a monologue sequence where Dr. Mulciber (Lance Henriksen) talks about his use of sex-magic to solve crimes. Godkiller is slated for a limited theatrical release in January 2010, but Halo-8 has put together an innovative release campaign by splitting the movie into three shortform, episodic DVDs released bi-monthly leading up to the full theatrical release (similar to how comic books are released before the complete graphic novel). Update: Rumor: ’2001 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillys’ Shooting Next Week

Bloody-Disgusting just received quite a healthy tip that Tim Sullivan’s long-delayed sequel to his remake of 2001 Maniacs, currently titled 2001 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillys, is set to finally go behind camera as early as NEXT WEEK. We are working feverishly to confirm, but companies like IM GLOBAL are being tight-lipped. Rumor has it that Christa Campbell is set to reprise her role as the sexy Milk Maiden, with word that Bill Moseley (TCM 2, The Devil’s Rejects, The Tortured) has joined the cast of crazies. The UPDATE is that Robert Englund will NOT be returning as Mayor Buckman. We’ll do some digging to see what we can find out, remember to keep this filed under rumor until we can confirm. First Footage From Pulido’s ‘The Graves’

The first footage from the upcoming horror film, The Graves can be seen in the all-new video by horror-punk icons Calabrese posted below. The Graves is about sisters Megan and Abby whose visit to Skull City Mine turns into a mind bending fight for survival against menaces both human, and supernatural. “We’ll launch The Graves official trailer on July 20th, right before Comicon International, but we wanted to give everyone a sneak peek,” says writer/director Brian Pulido. “We feature Calabrese early on in The Graves and this video is a natural extension of that scene.” In the coming weeks, horror fiends can expect video interviews with Tony Todd, D. Randall Blythe and director Brian Pulido as well as looks into the making of The Graves.

William Forsythe will portray the famed Chicago serial killer John Wayne Gacy, in the biopic Dear Mr. Gacy directed by Svetozar Ristovski, according to Production Weekly. He joins Tyler Mane, Malcolm McDowell, Daeg Faerch, Pat Skipper, Dee Wallace Stone, Sheri Moon Zombie, William Forsythe, Ken Foree, Danielle Harris, Adrienne Barbeau, Clint Howard, Courtney Gains, Daryl Sabara, Brad Dourif, Udo Kier, Kristina Klebel and many more. Zombie’s vision of this film is an entirely new take on the legend and will satisfy fans of the classic “Halloween” legacy while beginning a new chapter in the Michael Myers saga. “This is a bit of a prequel and a remake, combined,” says Zombie. B-D reader Kenny C. sent in some amazing news from Sheri Moon Zombie’s official website, today they’ve posted the first official still from Rob Zombie’s “Werewolf Women of the SS”. The short faux trailer will play inbetween Quentin Tarantino’s “Death Proof” and Robert Rodriguez’s “Planet Terror” when Dimension Films’ Grindhouse hits theaters April 6th. Zombie’s short also stars Udo Kier (Blood of Dracula), Sybil Danning (the Howling II), Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw Massacre II, House of 1000 Corpses), Tom Towles (The Devil’s Rejects) and WWE wrestlers Test (Andrew Martin) and Vladimir Kozlov.
