Totally silly fun. Very stylistically similar to ‘Undead’ and ‘Black Sheep’, and in my opinion, the funniest, goriest and most entertaining of the lot. Loads of fun.

This felt very much like a student film. It has a poorly written script, terrible special effects and wooden acting. There were occasional moments of gore-related humour but overall it didn’t really have much to engage with.

This sort of feels like one of Peter Jacksons earlier movies, though not as memorable. Still, there is a bit of gore, and there were a few funny moments, but not much more. It’s an o.k low budget zombie movie.

This movie took it’s self far too seriously for what it was.

80 mins of Irish zombiefest that sports real goop and gore effects and some fun kills. Same ol’ premise as others, but dig the genuine humor in Dead Meat and the non-CGI effects. Characters are run-of-the-mill types except for the personality and opinions of Coach Cathal–what a crackpot. His accent is thick and comes fast, so subtitles are a must to fully understand his outbursts–funny character. It is a low, low rent production, isn’t without it’s many flaws, and presents nothing new—but ended up enjoying it more than most cookie-cutter zombie films.

Official Score: 4 / 5
