wtf? this isnt even a horror? sucks as an action as well and it is an action? how did this get in2 thestres? this is the most fucked up movie i ever seen besides happy feet.
cool
I have a feeling that the only reason “Ultraviolet” made it on Bloody-Disgusting’s movie pit is becuase of Mila Jovovich, which seems to be a fanboy magnet as of recently.
Kurt Wimmer made a decent debut with his first film, entitled “Equilibrium”, which was suprisingly quite good. However, all of that impression was countered with the udder unimpressiveness of “Ultraviolet”: an ultra-crappy, uninspired, insepid popcorn fiasco with no taste whatsoever.
I wrote this review to warn you, don’t say I didn’t.
This movie is Great! Milla Jovovich Kicks Ass!
I cannot say i liked this movie but it offered a bit of action but in the result the movie its stupid itself and it maked no sence so worth a watch but for free!
The worst film I have seen in a long time. I went into it not expecting much more than a lazy Sunday bad movie. It didn’t even live up to that. I couldn’t find a plot if it had hit me upside the head. The acting was…well, I’m not sure if it could be called ANYTHING resembling acting. I’ve heard better dialogue in the special ed class I taught. It was basically a serious of repetitive fight scenes (watch Violet spin in a circle and kill 20 bad guys…yet again) and bad runway model facial expressions. Truly a steaming pile…One star is generous.
stupid.
Dumb fucking movie. Theres no other words to describe it.
not a horror film, but otherwise ok…
Totally crap, but it is a visual spectacle with some sweet choreography. Be sure to catch on Blu-ray!
Garbage. complete crap.
Crap but somewhat entertaining movie full of flashy stunts and cgi.
Milla’s worst film by far!
this movie is not worthy of having milla in it
I liked this movie it was very exotic, Milla did a great job kicking fat ass as usual because she always plays tough chick roles she’s like Michelle Rodriguez, Anyways the story was very cool and entertaining, I loved the action scenes.
this isnt great but its vheesy enough to be a great! milla kicks ass as usual and the story isnt too bad either. not to mention the viual appeal is great. not a bad film.
Non-existing story, partly trashy sets, some terrible dialogues — but after four beers
this flick rocks every (all-male) BluRay-night!
(Please notice: The original version was about 120 minutes long. They cut it down to 88/96 min respectively (Unrated). I’m still hoping for the Director’s Cut.)
Despite this not being a horror movie, I still found it to be very amusing, interesting, and enjoyable.
