This is one that I like to recommend to my friends for a few reasons. First, because I know there’s a 99% chance that they haven’t seen it. Second, because I always see it at blockbuster, so I know they can find it. Lastly, ’cause it’s great movie. Let’s be honest, what’s better than being locked in a subway station with a blood-thirsty freak?

I liked how it ended and liked how it begain it was good little UK film but I’ve always prefured Forigen horror over north american horror it’s just BETTER!!! Not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s a guilty pleasure of mine and I really did enjoy it to bits. Visually very pleasing and stylish, very gory and suspenseful, certainly worth watching – but don’t expect ‘The Descent’.

a fairly good horror film that keeps you interested especially with the villian that you dont know quite what sure is until more into the film. not to much different as far as a great plot, but I did enjoy it for the most part, but overall it’s just too similar to so many others. and the end result i just have mixed feelings about, so im leaning more towards the negative.

i liked the first hour and the suspense caused by note seeing the killer for like a goo 45 mins which i thought realy got the tension going and i loved the idea of isolating the main charachter this again really got the tension goin but after the hour the movie went downhill fast and just became a bit stupid and really cliche and dull….for anybody wanting to wath this id just say avoid and watch the descent instead is a similar film but far better

This is a really good, british horror. It’s really awesome. From the begining, you know this will be good, with the great opening credits, to the atmosphere of the overall movie. Franka does a brilliant job here, she is a wonderful actress, and she fits the role perfectly. Don’t watch this and expect just a thriller, because this is a really gory, blood fest, full of blood, guts, heads and freaky looking deformed people. I know that sounds crap, but it’s a really freaky movie. The acting, as I said is great, and the plot is very well thought out, and with a great script, you really can’t go wrong here. A perfect horror!

    9/10

This movie had everything going for it in my eyes but it just didn’t click with me. I think it may have to do with the creature, as the movie was good until you saw what it actually looked like and when you see it, all i can say is weak sauce.

This is a great movie. I loved the idea of showing the killer’s home quarters. Can’t wait to see more of Smith’s movies.

I really enjoyed this movie, it’s dark and disturbing, and the “monster” is actually quite scary. The underground subway was creepy and the characters were likeable.
The lighting was really cool, and the acting was pretty good.

I really wanted to like this.. but it just straight out sucked.. the acting was pretty bad and the film itself was extremely predictable.. and where was all the gore? very weak in all aspects

A well scripted film using the London Underground as a chamber of horrors with an evil something/someone lurking about. Acting was top-notch. The villain perhaps was revealed a little too soon, but the ghastly nature of their pursuits and interests managed to keep the pulse-a-pumping. The ending was rather clever, with a nice touch of irony. Overall, a solid horror work.

‘Creep’ is a 2005 British Horror film which is a director debut for Christopher Smith, where a Women get locked in overnight in a London underground which she than find a hideously deformed killer who live in the sewers below. The film is an average take in the films & Horrendous of British cinema, as I wouldn’t say it’s the best, but an enjoyable watch for Horror Fans alike. (The Film has now been compared to the 1972 film ‘Death Line’).

The Movie which I will admit that I got some frightening, scare, jumpy & freaky moment in this film, but am saying it deferentially is not the best film, horror film or a british film, the title of the film ‘Creep’ really dose show in the film as a really creepy murder down in the underground of London (in dark) that really dose seems to be a fucked up phsyco path that kills everyone in the dark & takes them away to feed on them which I find the storyline to be average, its style & theme were dark & just plain odd, while the directions were random in good & bad ways of directions, the film dose showcase the murder (had a bird like sound when he was around) & way he doing all this, but even though I love Horror & gore but this movie was absolute disgusting & was just plan bad the ending was no surprise the women made it while five people & the murder died, as she became a hobo & realized that she made it & cried (The End).

I watched “Creep” on Fearnet and was pleasantly surprised.
It’s a fast paced horror /thriller about a woman who falls asleep waiting for the last train in a subway hoping to meet George Clooney at a party, needless to say she doesn’t make it to the party and what lies ahead of her is no party either.
Waking up realizing she is locked in the subway station she starts trying to find someone to help her.First she finds a co worker who followed her into the subway with less than friendly ideas and proceeds to try and rape her.Good news, he doesn’t get to finish ,bad news,it’s because he gets attacked by a creature that looks like a combination of the creature from “Castle Freak” and the creatures from “The Descent” in other words UGLY~!
From there it becomes a cat and mouse roller coaster ride of a horror/slasher flick.
There are a couple of unanswered questions as to the origin of the creature because they show a room with deformed babies in jars and cribs with names on them.It looks like some sort of doctors office..but there is no explanation given, even though they don’t explain the origin of the room it’s very interesting and we get to use our own imagination to make our own assessment .I call him a creature but he’s more human than anything else, just looks like he has been through some very unfortunate events in his life deformity being key .The blood and gore are very well done and pretty abundant.I am surprised I have never heard OF OR seen this film before.
Bottom line,If you are a Horror/slasher fan you will probably really enjoy “Creep”..I myself am going to buy it.

The whole movie really well made, it was really good gory/bloody scenes and there one scenes that made on heart skip a beat as the scared the out of me.

The acting was okay from the girl, who was playing Kate but wasn’t that good in those crying scenes at all.

This is great movie, I seen so many times already and i don’t think i will ever get bored of this movie

i was pretty disappointed by this, it had such a huge hype but when it came down to it, it was actually a bit boring and the monster itself wasnt all that scary. could have been alot better i feel.

Christopher Smith has made some interesting films in the past few years. I liked “Severance” and I also liked “Black Death”, so I decided that perhaps it was time to see the man’s debut feature. And like a lot of debut films, it’s neither an accurate display of the director’s talent as both a filmmaker and a story-teller, but it also squanders its inventive premise. A lot of inspiration went into the film; but little went out. Kind of like the sewer system at the center of the film; which is within the horror genre, something not surprising when it comes to director Smith. But he could have done so much more here and he didn’t; so “Creep” is kind of a disappointment overall.

Kate (Franka Potente) needs to hop on the next train so that she can go to a party that actor George Clooney is attending. She misses the train after falling asleep, and finds herself stuck within the station. When she’s still in the train, she nearly gets raped by a guy that we saw her talking to at the party before the one she actually wants to attend. But something stops him, pulls him off, and leaves him very much damaged. Seeking help from homeless people and the station security, Kate is even more interested in finding out who did this to her sweet near-rapist.

After a lot of searching and pondering, it is revealed that there is a killer in the sewer system; a deformed, ugly bastard known only as “The Creep”. He kidnaps other not-so-deformed humans and tortures, or even kills them. And he has a lot of fun with it. Oh, and I should mention that in his spare time, the guy kills already somewhat-dead laboratory patients. And I bet he has a lot of fun with that too.

“Creep” does not have a bad set-up; but it was nothing original or particularly inventive to begin with. It could of worked, but it does not. It builds tension in the most absurdly generic way; through screams and crafty camerawork, as well as make-up effects for its creature/monster/killer, and music to spice up the experience. I suppose this would work on me if I was a very gullible horror fan, but I’m just not the type of person. “Creep” doesn’t have good enough characters or a good enough plot to hold its own. There are better horror movies and there are better thrillers; why would you see this one?

And then, the film makes matters worse by applying a laughable or perhaps intentionally ironic/funny twist ending, which works only somewhat, but still fails to make the film the slightest bit worthwhile. I won’t spoil WHAT the twist is, but let me tell you up front that it has nothing to do with the film’s killer. It almost allows the movie to be saying something; as if to make social commentary, but I don’t quite see it.

The film is well-intentioned in its direction by Christopher Smith. People will go in, get what they want out of the movie, and enjoy it while it lasts, but few will really care about seeing it once more. Movies like this rarely attract an audience that wants to think, but if you’re a fan of decent escapist entertainment, it might work a certain charm; a certain appeal. But for me, “Creep” is nothing more than the same genre mediocrity that I’ve been dealing with for years-and-years, but the good news is that Smith eventually got his act together, and followed up with some pretty solid films. My advice would be this: see those films, but don’t see “Creep”. I can’t decide for you; and I’m not saying that the film is a bad one, but I just slapped a rating on the thing after I concluded my thoughts, and this is what it all accumulated to.

Subway underworld horror with an ageless Franka Potente as the damsel in distress.

The title character was a scrawny bad actor in a Slim Goodbody outfit. All of his victims sit back and allow this wimp to murder them rather than making an attempt to fight back. There isn’t a single likeable character in this whole shitfest. There were a few laughable moments where the director attempted to make the audience feel bad for the “Creep”, which failed horribly. The gore sucks, with the slight exception of a random fingernail pulling scene. The BD review mentions black comedy. Black comedy?? Well, there is a black guy in it and an unintentionally comedic rapist. Maybe that’s what the reviewer meant. Spoiler alert: this movie sucks. Watch Raw Meat instead.
