Cry wolf is and ok movie that is good at times but a little to cliche. The ending is kinda saw like but not as good. Decent film but more for viewers of 13-16. Not really good for big time horror fans
This film was decent for a small-time thriller. It had a plot that would mostly appeal to teens, with a pretty good twist at the end. It’s one of those movies that you watch one day when your bored and you want to see something different.
when i first started watching this i was nervous about it. there are only reviews about how people thought this movies was decent but not very good. but 2 me i loved this movie. it was different than a typical horror movie and i really loved the love story in here. and i’ll also like anything with jared padaleckiu in it. this movie is a good thriller that will keep you on the edge of ur seat!
Not great, but good.
SUPER GAY AND WEEK ASS MOVIE!! I hated all the carictors and the acting and the plot and the directing. But I really love Jared Padalecki even though he has never really made a good movie EX HOUSE OF WAX! But if can manage to sit through this one to the end maybe you’ll see something I didn’t!!!
good but not great
an underated movie that quite frankly is quite intellegent in it’s way, something i didnt see coming, a good twist, not much as far as gore goes, as i believe this was pg 13 when i saw it in theaters, but it kept me interested throughout the whole movie and although nobody has said much about this movie being good, i thought it was very good. different than most.
I loved it. I found it to be suspenseful and fun, with interesting and intricate characters. I didn’t see the twist coming, but I thought they could’ve handled it a little better — more like the original April Fool’s Day, perhaps…but that wouldn’t have worked here. Either way, I really enjoyed it and I think it’s incredibly underrated.
Cry_Wolf is a thriller that willl keep you guessing to the very end. I think it was really smartly written and the shocks kept coming right to the end. The ending is by far the best part, and worth waiting, and the film is so well done. The storyline is so original and i don’t think people were expecting what was to come. I thought it was going to be a childish thriller but it was a mature horror/mystery flick.
Lindy Booth has so many emotions and i get why they chose her for the role. The cast have so much chemistry and they bonded really well on screen.
I am so amazed that they came up with this film with an estimated $1,000,000. It just really fascinates me.
Overall Cry_Wolf is a must see sexy/thriller that won’t dissapoint, especiall if you like to pick who the killer or in this case mastermind behind the plot.
My rating is 3.5/5
shitty slasher wannabe not smart or edgy just crap!
Better than I thought but not great by any means. The end was sort of unique in the April Fool’s Day sort of way.
I guess there is only a couple of things to say about Cry_Wolf. It was a fairly entertaining “slasher” and was pretty fun to watch. The twist is very annoying to say the least I agree with Mr.Disgusting. But still the lies and deceptions and secrets in the film keep you guessing to the end. I suggest watching it. Who cares if its PG-13. Remember Poltergeist was rated PG and same with Jaws. Not saying Cry_Wolf is in their league at all but it was enjoyable and definitely something to watch again, unless you disagree.
a good thrilling movie…love the game that they play too.
This was a pritty good movie but not scary @ all and this movie kinda seemed like it dragged on threw the last hour. Pritty good i find no complaints.
Clever thriller. Not to spoil anything, but it’s not everyday that a film fools you so easily to believe it’s content is predictable, when it heads for a totally different direction that you’d expect.
Cry Wolf is a good movie. Good acting,suspence-thriller but not the horror movie I was hoping for. I did enjoy the movie non the less.
I don’t know what someone below me is talking about because this movie was definitly edgy. VERY complicated story, and even more complicated reveal, but I think it was a clever twist on the single or pair of killers with one motive. This had wound up complicated finish that left me going “wait what?!” but in a great way. It left me thinking and wanting to watch it all over again from the beginning.
decent enough acting, decent smart script, and characters that you cared about for the most part.
what I am surprised to say is holding this movie back is that amount of gore in it. THERE ISN’T ANY! Almost none at least, and I’m not a huuuge fan of gore, but it can be so fantastic if used properly and in the right places. Knowing the ending like I do, I can see why there was no blood or gore, but still… hahaha there could’ve been a way maybe!
A solid rental, and for less than maybe $7 or $8, a great buy!
Unoriginal boring teen slasher film thats all
A very unoriginal and dull attempt at a slasher film. No gore what so ever which doesn’t necessarily make it a bad film I know, but this film needed gore to carry the weak plot and even weaker acting. the acting was like something out of Phenomena but at least Phenomena had an original plot and some great, memorable scenes this film has nothing that will make me remember it. The only way it redeemed itself is when the twist was revealed, I admit I didn’t see it coming but I suppose I am naive so other horror fans would be able to smell it a mile away. This is not for the hardcore fans its a beginner at least, just don’t expect Frontier(s)
I really thought this was a good movie with a great twist ending that I definitely didn’t see coming. Its worth a watch.
Bit cheesey and rubbish, but I quite liked it.
No. bad movie, all the action starts in the last 24 minutes and there was no gore. it was a waste of my time. I shouldn’t have had it on my list.
Typical teeny-bop horror flick.
Not great, but not bad. Creative, and for a young cast, the acting is decent. Jon Bon Jovi is also kind of an entertaining touch.
I liked this movie… till the end. When I finally realized “oh dear god, it really is going to be as predictable as I feared”, it was too late to switch it off. It felt as much of a cop-out as an Agatha Christie novel, and the characters make me want to lose faith in humanity. The idea of a group of people being that stupid just… argh.
I rather liked this movie. At first I felt cheated by the end, but when I really thought about it, it left me with a smile. Plus I never turn down an oppertunity to see Lindy Booth, I don’t know why but I really like the actress. Maybe its the red hair.
