a failed attempt at a werewolf movie, perhaps cursed from the beginning i heard wes craven was set to make another film that didnt go through and he had to make this movie as part of the deal, that makes sense, because this film felt hurried, unsure of itself and not scary or interesting.

Why are there no good werewolf movies? Aside from the Howlong and An American Werewolf In London, almost every other one sucks. This is no exception.

hhaha I won this movie at a bowling alley for using my badass ball rolling skills but anyway,

this movie is silly cheap fun, don’t expect greatness but yeah you’ll have fun watching the movie with some friends and cold pizza don’t forget Ricci who is a mysterious babe..she needs to be in more movies. She’s a seductive beast, oh yeah!

Like previously said, it’s all in good fun and I don’t think it was trying to be anything else. Though I can’t help but feel this movie is just like Scream, but with a warewolf as the killer instead.

Wes Craven, what are you thinking? This is supposed to be a scary, horror comedy warewolf flick, but no, it’s horrible. It’s badly acted to the point of death, the CGI is horrible, the amount of mistakes is unbelivable. What has happened to the horror genre. Was Wes Craven high when he thought of this mess? Damn, avoid!

    1/10

Definitely a lot better than the pg-13 version. Not Craven’s typical style film, but it’s really not as bad as they say.

A good, solid, and really fun werewolf film directed by one of my favorite directors ‘Wes Craven’, with an incredibly well written script by Kevin Williamson, and a cool cast. I thought Jesse Eisenberg and Christina Ricci were both great as the leads. It had a couple moments of not so great cgi, but that’s my only complaint. I really like this film a lot, and I was happy to see Rick Baker back doing some werewolf effects too. Make sure you definitley check out the unrated version, there’s some cool added gore that wasn’t in the theatrcial version.

This version is awesome, but as a film, unrated or not, it’s still great! Wes Craven never disappoints! It’s a smart, intense, sexy and entertaining ride!
