Yes, this movie is animated, but it was more brilliant than most any live-action horror movie that came out in 2005. My single complaint is something this amazing wasn’t made into live-action.

It’s cute. Reminds of those old R.L. Stein Goosebumps stories.

takes me back to my childhood and watching the goonies, definatly the best all cgi movie ive seen to date. vvery entertaining, fun and just a cool youth-intended film that has a great voice cast.

    Loved it
Every single aspect was put towards making it enjoyable for everyone. I saw this one in 3-D and that was much better than the majority of the bullshit coming out recently

Monster house was alright, I wouldn’t watch it again. It was good watching it in 3D. The plot was good, the characters were well developed but the dialogue was………..lame. There was no suspense and it wasn’t scary (probably because I’m a little too old for this type of stuff.) But for a animated horror it wasn’t bad. The ending was crap. Overall monster house was probably one of the best animated “horror” flicks I have seen but I wouldn’t think about watching it again. 5/10

Possibly the bed animated horror film ever, hands down. This should be a staple for every autumn/halloween.

Definitely the best animation horror flick ever! Entertaining and just fun! And something you can watch with the kids! A treat for everyone and us horror fans can’t say that much about our movies!

Surprisingly fun and original. Not at all something that can easily be thrown in with the typical CG family film bunch. It even manages to be really funny, thanks to the support of John Heder, Kevin James and Steve Buscemi. Highly recommended, not just for kids.

Monster House is the best animated horror film of all time. Im not into kid films or Pixar, but the animation in this was spectacular and eye-owning. The story was rested perfectly between children and adults – its the first movie I successfully watched with my woman and I, AND her two little girls, 3 and 8. They need to make more films like this. I agree with Mr. D. Monster House is a subtle masterpiece.

Great family horror movie with a few nice adult jokes tossed in.

I for one enjoyed this movie, I thought it was cleverm funny, and more original than most other made for adult horror movies. The most original and entertaining haunted house movie I seen in a while, and this is a kids movie.

Official Score: 4.5 / 5
