Again, I must revise my score for Tremors II here. Tremors 3 is clearly not a better movie, and Tremors 2 might actually be the BEST quality direct to video movie out there. Sure, it’s got some dodgy CG effects, but it’s 1996, so give it a break. They didn’t have the budget or the technology. Tremors 2 picks up where the first left off and continues the style of the comedy/horror in a very entertaining way.
hard to top the original, but in terms of just fun entertainment, if you liked the original this one is definatly the one to check out of the 3 sequels that came after the original, fun seeing fred ward reprise his role, obviously kevin bacon felt to good to be in this one, but oh well, it still wasnt bad.
terrrible on all counts get the f&%^%^ out my face
Couldn’t top the original, but an entertaining romp nonetheless.
Just as good as the first!!!!
With kevin gone, (some stupid story is made up to explain his abcense) it’s up to a new kid, burt, and fed, to exterminate the graboid invasion in mexico… But this time, something has happened, and the graboids are turning up devaoured from the inside (an imiage witch will make gore fanatics jip up and cheer) and have produces thes small “shreikers” sho comunicate by making a high pitched wail.
The monsters look just as real, and I still would like more charecter developnmen, but anyone who loved the first, will love the second!
not as good as the first, but still an amazing movie!
Fun filled movie. It was great to see the morphing of the worms. I wouldn’t recomend buying or renting, I would try to catch it on tv.
Awsome Sequel. I loved the storyline and the characters. I felt Earl and Grady were better together than Valentine and Earl, but no one tops Burt he is the Man!
Not as good as the 1st but still awesome
My favorite of all the Tremors movies. They amped up the comedy and the gore. Great entertainment valie came out of this movie and will always be my favorite Tremors movie
I could basically reuse the review from Part 1 for this fabulous sequel which is nearly as great. Super-funny and highly entertaining, fast-paced, thrilling and extremely action-packed.
The cast is amazing: Fred Ward and Michael Gross brilliantly reprising their roles from the first part, Christopher Gartin and Helen Shaver are worthy additions that make you forget about the absence of Kevin Bacon.
The Graboids and the new creatures look terrific, special and make-up effects are all great.
The action scenes are all pretty gripping and bloody fun,
and the comedy is simply amazing:
lots of funny one-liners, amusing dialogue (“Oh man, this stuff tastes like toilet paper.” – “Earl, that is the toilet paper.”)
and uber-hilarious moments (I totally adore the scene with the broom and the scene where they hide behind the doors!).
A really awesome follow-up, highly recommended to everyone who loves the original!
Good cheesy fun, worth owning.
The best sequel to Tremors, but still not as good as the first one, especially because it lacks the rewatch abbility.
so much good fun! Burt Gummer’s back with his kickass attitude, and the explosion at the end is worth the entire film! Great advance in the plot of the Graboids, I love this film and the first.
