Ok, I’m sorry for my official rating on here of 6/10. That would infer that this movie is actually good, and no, it isn’t. Tremors 4, as a horror movie, just simply sucks, period. Stampede Entertainment became so concerned with making a movie marketable to family audiences, that they simply made a family movie here. The dialogue is awful, and most of the actors are piss poor as opposed to the first three films. Michael Gross and Billy Drago are the only ones who make any of the characters worth rooting for, and Gross’s character is one of the biggest assholes in the movie. The cinematography looks great for the most part, but most of the time, nothing happens. There are a lot of awkwardly scripted moments and not enough suspense built up from the monsters.
A Total Suck Fest, Disgraces The 1st In A 100 Ways
I thought i was still pretty cool…. definitely not as good as the other Tremors movies. I would like to see a Tremors 5 or maybe even a reboot.
Solid release. I think that the prequal was good. out of place but good. It’s still Horror Comedy and it worked well in the old west
Fans of the series may have a good time with this entry in the series, but people who don’t know the first three movies will just be bored with all the running gags and hommages to the old Tremors movies.
