I loved this movie it was fresh and new. The terror in the movie felt so real and it looked grainy and dark. It was not perfect by any means but i loved watching Lauren Currie Lewis!!!!!

Pretty interesting and original little low budget time-warp/horror-thriller in the vein of “Groundhog Day”.
A little too slow in the first half and the acting is just mediocre, but apart from that it’s a solidly entertaining flick with a highly intelligent and fantastically twisted storyline, a thrilling soundtrack, a bunch of extremely suspenseful scenes (especially an excellent gas-station-scene, similar to the one from “High Tension”) and some really fabulous gore.
Highly recommended to people who love movies like “Triangle” or “12:01″.

Rooted in rewind mode, Salvage is a psych suspense story that turns into a bit of a thinker by the finale. The problem is with some of the storytelling gaps that wane interest, and of course, some cast woes. But on the pos side, the replay style isn’t as bad as one would think–actually occurring in different aspects, so not as Grounhogish (for those turned off by that kind of thing). Found Salvage to be more interesting than entertaining–an ok movie.

Typically when I put in a dvd and some of the worst, Lifetime Television movie trailers I have ever seen are screened, I tend to think I made a mistake with the movie I chose to watch. Combine this with some poor picture quality and you may think you have a terrible movie on hand.

In the case of Salvage you would be wrong. Salvage is a clever tale about a girl tormented by a killer. That is really all I can say without spoiling the plot of the film. For what was clearly a small film, shot on a small budget, I was actually quite impressed. There were a fair number of locations used, a number of interesting characters introduced and a solid lead actress and killer.

The amount of violence and gore on hand was actually quite small, featuring just one rather gruesome kill scene. What makes Salvage fun are the object at the corner of you vision that you see, faces out of focus, that type of thing. They lend a perfectly creepy atmosphere to what is happening. The ending also managed to surprise me a little and I really didn’t see where things were going, at least not entirely.

Overall this was a fun, fast-paced horror film that is worth a look.

It’s a good low budget movie. I really can’t find anything wrong with it. Story is fine, deliverance is professional and creepy, plot is decent.
This is one good horror movie.
