SOOOO bad. Stay away from this Posted By jasonvoorhees601 on October 26, 2008 @ 1:39 am Log in to Reply ★★★★☆ I thought this was a really good movie. The acting was decent, music pretty good for the most part, cinematography was pretty good too, the story was actually really good. Now, I have not yet seen the first 2 Pumpkinhead movies, but I still think this is a pretty good movie. Lance Henrikson did really really good in this one. The CGI Pumpkinhead wasn’t very good, one of the weak points of the film. I do recommend this to horror fans. They’re in the scene where the meth head chick is looking out the window, talking to Doug Bradley (aka Pinhead). Thought that was kinda cool. Aside from that, this movie has some potential. I like how it’s essentially a direct sequel of the first movie, but the acting and the story REALLY suck. I mean, horribly. Especially the bearded hick with the deep voice. Jesus Christ, just shut up already. Pumpkinhead himself just looks crappy too. Better than I would’ve thought, but you definitely don’t want to see him in CG. Bleh. And something about him just makes him look short. He’s proportioned all wrong; pretty sure the other characters are all kneeling around him or he’s standing on a stool or something. Just looks awkward. Not too mention, Lance Henrickson’s role was just plain forced and unnecessary, even though I appreciated his return. The only other saving grace outside of Pumpkinhead himself is the very few scenes with the witch or with Henriksen. Any other character scenes are very poorly performed and scripted. You know what, though–if you are any true fan of Pumpkinhead, I think you will like this movie just because most of the actual creature scenes are cool. Worth a view for diehard Pumpkinhead fans who don’t expect this sequal to be even close to as good as the original, but just don’t care because they just want to see a beloved horror monster in action again. I liked the creature and it was worth maybe a couple of veiws Posted By Morthalius on October 23, 2010 @ 9:16 pm Log in to Reply ★★★☆☆ A good watch if you’re a fan of the series.
