If you are fan of Daniel Myrick, than you know what to expect…similar to Believers, this film takes you on an adventure of the mind, body and soul into a modern day ghost story with some Blair Witch moments without all of the shaky-cam…It is a good film that leaves you wanting more.
This movie was awful. The story is as basic as it gets. The acting is as bad as I’ve ever seen in any movie. This is a movie that should be avoided at all costs. To call this movie amateur would be to give it too much credit.
This is a pretty good film, of course it’s no Blair Witch project but it still is pretty good. Some parts are very riviting and very suspense full. This isn’t an instant classic but it’s worth a watch.
HMMMM,
Thats what I think of the film, its abit slow but it kept me entertained at the thought of a big ending with aliens and shit.
but no just somthing with a plane.
watch if you have time but dont go out of your way for it.
Not really a bad film but it could have been a lot better, there’s really nothing to make it stand out at all.
A weird blend of horror, science fiction and war movie from “Blair Witch” director Myrick. The first half starts out very promising with some great atmosphere and a few highly suspenseful scenes – unfortunately, it gets boring and extremely confusing in the second half, due to a poor script full of unnecessarily tedious scenes, unanswered questions and large plot holes.
The acting is so-so, the characters are all rather charmless and there’s absolutely nothing special or remarkable about the dialogue. Furthermore, the fact that nearly every cool suspense-scene (the impressive non-helicopter scene, the bright light in the night, the 2 large objects in the desert, the first appearance of the triangle-thing…) is followed by a dull and/or unsuspenseful scene is quite unappealing, plus: the crude WTF?-ending is just plain stupid.
At least, the Dead Can Dance-like soundtrack is pretty nice, the camera work is very good and the settings all look great.
Nevertheless, I recommend to watch the similar but way better “Djinns” instead.
not sure why this movie is even on this site. the beginning is interesting, but like so many movies the middle and end don’t live up.
It would have been an interesting war movie, but once the UFO’s come out, it peters out quickly.
