sucked!!
I think this was a great sequel to the remake. The death scenes and gore was cool and different. Same with all the weird ghosts and shit that poped up through out the movie. The only thing is I wished that William Malone would have done the sequel also.
awesome sequel to an awesome movie!!!
i reccomend it highly to any fan of the original and the remake!!
UHHHH!! Not sure where to start! Like the BD review said I was very confused alot of the characters looked alike so when someone died I was like “UUUHHH which one was that?” The killing started off rather early and came very fast! Personally I like long chases ending with alot of gore! Now on the topic of GORE! There was alot of it but at times the blood looked like water with red foodcoloring in it! Some of the ghost were interesting and some of the deaths were ok but you cant expect much from a straight to DVD film like this one! The movie was simply OK! And for some reason my film didnt have the freaking pop up questions! Tha upset me alot! because those are fun! HaGa
I loved the original and I loved the sequel as well. I thought all the kill scenes where great, lots of gore and cool little flash back scenes. Put it this way if you liked the original you should like the sequel.
It was pretty good. It was slow at some parts, but picked back up again. It was gory, sexy, and plain violent.
Well-acted, but filled with too much CGI and not enough character development or plot for me.
This was just as crappy as the first.
it was exactly like the first
Commandos looking for a magic statue in a haunted house… It lacks tension. There’s zero scares, it’s all about the action. It’s kinda Mummy-styled… Which isn’t my thing.
Horrible!
I was to surprised to actually enjoy this movie. The script is awful, but it was shot very well, and had some really creepy sequences (the lesbian ghosts come to mind). The first one is pretty stupid, and a very obscure movie to randomly make a sequel for, but this one was very watchable, for the way it was shot if nothing else.
um it was ok but one thing really bugged me, at the end of the first movie sarah wins millions but when they go to her apartment after she shoots herself its a complete and total shit hole
not too bad but the deaths were pretty lame and the secial effects sucked
oh boy where to start. First one owned. It was scary, gory, funny, and over all cool.
This one is a joke. The deaths were shitty, I’ve seen PG-13 deaths gorier then this crap. The coolest death was the guy getting ripped in half, and even that wasn’t all that good. The CGI was awful. The one from the later 90s had better CG then this shit.
I never care about acting but jeez this was just awful.
The ghost were the only cool things about this.
ummm the plot sucked, the score sucked. I think a uwe boll movie is better then this.
Lets see don’t rent it ever. EVER. I love jeffery combs but this was awful.
And I forgot to mention the hot chicks makin out couldn’t even save this.
FUCK
Not Great this was a terrible film.
awsome
Not all that bad really but, then again, I saw it on blu-ray so I got to mess around with the “choose your own adventure” aspect of it. Most of the choices just lead to dead ends obviously, but it was fun nonetheless. I’d like to see it incorporated into more horror movies actually. To top it off there were a total of four different endings depending on the options you chose. Pretty sweet.
There was one scene, where if you chose a certain option, EVERYONE DIED. It was insane cause it was only like forty minutes into the movie.
It’s always a pleasure to see Mr. Combs too.
Not bad, but I would rent it not own this one.
i loved the original…and the same came through with the sequel! the deaths were good, and the story was better than the first…a perfect sequel to the original!
Hmm not good
…..
Lame lame lame bore lame lame crap
awesome movie!!!:)
Sequel to “House On Haunted Hill” released in 1999 (which i thought was an alright movie.. especially since i hated how the movie progresses & completely falls apart.. goes into a downward spiral of nonsense.. just a weak ending!) Now this sequel is’nt a bad movie for a direct-to-video offering! it has plenty of scares and the special effects are little over the top.. but nevermind! i think the plot was fairly decent.. the strength of the movie is in the plot.. and the acting was meh!(Amanda Righetti did extremely well.. the same hot chick from the 2009′s “Friday the 13th” )! An incredibly enjoyable sequel that doesn’t really have all that much wrong with it at all and comes off as being highly entertaining! the thing i did’nt like was.. by the time it starts getting really good, the movie finishes and is over, and it doesn’t even last an hour and a half.. too short!
Utterly dumb and unnecessary but entertaining sequel. The plot completely sucks, most of the actors are awfully annoying and it’s full of tedious and dispensable scenes. Gladly there are loads of nice-looking ghost appearances, fabulous kills and super-gory moments (people ripped in pieces, heads cut open, death by refrigerator, etc.) which make the whole thing way more fun and bearable.
terrible sequal to an OK movie. stupid! dont waste your time!
So bad.
only goood part was the lezbian scene and the guy being torn apart with ropes on each arms and legs.
As one of the very few who enjoyed the remake, I thought this had a great premise but it quickly fizzles. The blu ray version does include a pretty cool choose your own adventure option that is worth checking out!
This movie was pretty awful, but okay at the same time.
