I remember hunting this film down movie-store buy movie-store. I would love to see this remade with more money behind it.
so cool!!

This movie was amazing… until the ridiculous unnecessary twist at the end. It had me and my best friend completely frozen the entire time. It was one of the most terrifying films I have ever seen. And then, as I said, the end came and the ending ruins the entire film. I was furious after it was over and wished I had some sort of authority to demand a brand new ending from the filmmakers. An ending that would do the film justice and be the way it should have been. What a waste.
didnt care for the ending that much but it still was a great creepy film
Not a unique movie nowdays, but being made before Blair Witch and similar other movies, this is an original find. If you didn’t know any better you would think this was some kind of documentary on a murder case, not a movie–for a while, anyway. Blair Witch holds it’s own, but definitely owes some creds to this earlier release. Interesting view.
Had it been able to get a few more thousand dollars, would have been equally as successful as Blair Witch Project. Feels more like a special on A & E rather than a mockumentary. Oh, but the ending is absolutely terrible, and almost completely ruins the entire film. More details here:

This movie proves that blood & extreme gore are not always necessary when it comes to making a really good horror film. Yes, the similarities to Blair Witch are overwhelming, but this is much SMARTER than Blair Witch. It makes you face reality, then it makes you face the possibility of the supernatural being behind it….AND THEN it makes you face reality all over again! A good twist at the end that wasn’t expected at all.
This was a complete waste of time. I will say it had a nice little twist at the end, but the rest of the film was so boring that I wanted the 10 hours (at least it seemed that long) of my life back after sitting thru it. I have no clue why this movie is rated so highly. Low budget, terrible acting, Blair Witch-esq, and downright awful.
