Recently I gave this little gem a view and thought it worthy of a review. If you go for the gross out factor I guess this would be your cup-o-tea. A group of troubled teen’s are sent to a isolated reform school and are basically tormented and tortured by the camps sadistic guards. When a disgruntled cook serves up some “bad meat” hence the title the guards are turned into blood thirsty drooling maniacs. Not that they weren’t already.
The movie is shot on a shoestring budget and it shows, however I may not be one for the gross out factor but I found this movie fun. It’s loaded with vomit, feces, blood and everything that possibly could be conceived as a barf bag. Despite the movies limited budget it’s fun as fun can be. I know that may sound weird, but if it had a bigger budget and better acting I would certainly give it a perfect review.

At times I was reminded of the work’s of Loyd Kaufman finest troma films. The sound effects are at times hilarious and the special effects consist of cream style corn with plenty of blood. The only drawback was the budget of course and an uneven ending. One particular scene involves a very troubled teen preforming an autopsy upon a dog with lough out loud grue and stomach churning at the same time.

In the end, I advise to give it a shot. You may be pleasantly surprised. 3 Skulls
