Religious garbage beautifully filmed. Overly long with little happening. Easy to anticipate. Gratuitous attempt at torture. Actors wasted. Logically flawed.
bleh I got excited when this got on Netflix instant because BD gave it such a warming review.
It’s too bad I thought it was yawn inducing.. :/
This is to horror what christian death metal is to death metal – completely redundant and missing the point. The last few bd films I have watched with 4+ rating have been poor – this, mother’s day, and kill list. This one and kill list are seriously bad. My girlfriend thought this was slow so went to bed, I stuck with it and having watched it I felt like it was trying to create a new christian horror genre. Whatever you look for in horror you wont find it here. No torture (not that its absense is a bad thing given that its used as a gimmick in most films – mother’s day comes to mind), and really only one kill. Don’t trust BD anymore.
Like the other three people who have reviewed this, the movie is simply a no. Maybe its the desert setting, I’m not sure. I just was bored watching it.
Saw this film more than 2 years ago and hated it, can’t believe it’s still around…
