Two pieces of television news in one post as HBO released the FULL trailer for their forthcoming third season of “True Blood” which will reveal what happened to vampire Bill Compton. In addition, below you’ll find ABC’s first promo for “The Gates”. Written by Richard Hatem and Grant Scharbo, “Gates” centers on a big-city cop (Grillo) who becomes chief of police in a seemingly sleepy planned community only to discover there’s much more to the residents than meets the eye. The series is being eyed for a summer launch. Mably (“The Prince and Me”) will play one of the residents, a cardiologist who is a vampirelike creature. Gavankar (“The L Word”) will play a local cop with a dark secret. West (“90210″) will play the owner of a tea shop. The project is slated to begin production in late March in Louisiana. Anything they announce will be met with skepticism, no matter how intriguing it sounds. This evening it was announced that their next project will be horror related and send a young ghost back to Boo U. (tentative title) to learn how to be better at his job. Read on for the skinny. Since Fangoria announced the other day that Rob Zombie would direct the next Halloween, everyone has been in a constant frenzy trying to figure out what’s going on. Then Rob actually denied rumors that he would direct Halloween 9, which we saw right through… why? The film will hit theaters October of 2007. To read the full press release and for word from Rob Zombie and co. read on… (more…) READ MORE
