“The serial killer makes the movie you’re watching!” When our scooper threw us this tagline, they had our attention. But even at the following article about the movie, I still find myself at a loss about what we’re dealing with. Apparently Gary Sherman, who directed Dead and Buried and Poltergeist III, directed a feature film entitled 39: A Film by Carroll McKane. So you’re still asking, what’s this film about? Carroll McKane’s DVcams have recorded the deaths of his 36 past victims. His killing room, a makeshift studio, is the set for the murders of two more victims and the torture of a forensic psychiatrist, destined to be his biographer and the killer of his final victim… number 39.
