Carole Anne just can’t stay out of the light… Pretty good movie. Scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.

Poltergeist III is a bad film and you cannot argue with that… the reason why so many people have a love for this film is due to the fact that Heather O’Rourke died before completing the film (depends on what sources you read). So it’s her swan-song. And for that reason we can’t harshly criticise it….as usual Heather O’Rourke performance as Carol Anne as usual good…it’s a shame that she died she would of grown-up to be either a world-class actress or a typecast actress we will never know.
The only fault with all Poltergeist films is the number of times they shout and repeat “Carol Anne”…this film is no exception. Now for one word of major criticism….Where is Jerry Goldsmith’s “Theme of Carol Anne”…it’s like having Jason without this “killl herrr” sound..unforgiverable.

    Gag me with roughage.

“Hey, Heather O’Rourke died during the making of this movie, but we still want to make money. What do we do?”

“Hmmm, how about we put lots of crappy make-up on another girl who looks kinda similar and call her evil Carol-anne?”

    “Sweet thinking, dude”

The whole original cast stayed away from this one, minus Zelda Rubinstien, and so should you.

Poltergeist 3 is terrible. That’s coming from me, a massive fan of the first. The second wasn’t that good, and this just dissapoints me alot. The original cast are not in it, and replaced with a bunch of low budget guys, who can’t act for their lives! I was really dissapointed. I felt it was rushed, and it looks it too. The scipt is plain awful, the characters are boring and the CGI work is horrible. I’m not going into much detail at all, because this is truly awful. Avoid.

    2/10

`Poltergeist 3′ (otherwise known as Poltergeist 3: We’re Back) is a 1988 American horror film. It is the third and final film of the Poltergeist film series (which is the seconded sequel to the series). Heather O’Rourke and Zelda Rubinstein were the only original cast members to return. However, O’Rourke died suddenly and unexpectedly four months before the film was released and before post-production could be completed. The movie was dedicated to her memory.

The Movie shows Carol Anne is now living with aunt, uncle & cousin & that Kane has found her again at a skyscraper & breaking & freezing the building as warning that they are coming for her again. The Movie dose seems to be very much into the future (from the other two film looked like a normal atmosphere year), but I have to say its creepy, eerie, freighting & really scary at times, I really think the scariest things are when they us the mirrors as it show nothing on our side but on the mirror side it will show something to from our world (creepy to find that in mirror because I would hate that). The special effects, make-up & material use’s in this movie is absolute excellent showing as for the right element use for the movie and that the storyline/plot was ok as am glad they stopped after this one because it would have ruined it.

The acting all seemed very natural & the same but was very good in the own way (mainly Heather O’Rourke as her best character as Carol Anne), which are by Tom Skerritt, Nancy Allen, Heather O’Rourke (her finally movie bless her soul), Zelda Rubinstein and Lara Flynn Boyle, while the director Gary Sherman did excellent directions & I loved how he capture on the mirror elements (as they are the dimensions to the other side for a cross pass) & the love of the family power and the movie ending for the final film in the series was basically quit like the ending in Poltergeist 2: The Other Side, but with different people & a different happening of the ending , as well you could tell that Heather O’Rourke wasn’t at the ending (bless her soul, here last Movie & i enjoyed watching it, rest in peace she would have been a great actress) and the ending was a peace one & of course a happy one (but not in really life).

(This was a great last film for the film series & is glad they stopped it because they couldn’t do another one and that am glad I liked this Movie, as all the poltergeist movie are fanatics, but the original & first one that stayed it all will be the best one.)

The mirrors and atmosphere were eery, but the story just felt a little hap-hasard and the passing of Heather O’Rourke was as mysterious as it was sad. It’s like she wasn’t safe without the rest of the immediate family.
