This movie starts off slow
but stick with it b/c it’s totally worth it.
It has everything a decent horror movie needs
although it’s more of a thriller. They have characters you love to hate and death scenes that will have you cheering. I love British Horror and if you like movies like The Descent and Eden Lake this is definitely a movie for you.
One of the better thrillers of the year, not horror but thriller. I didn’t think the movie would have any blood in it, but it did. I was lucky to see this movie in the theatres because they usualy dont play these kind of movies. It was a good party thriller with sex,drugs and blood. Its worth seening.
One good thriller movie. I just got back from seeing it. It had some cool murders. The movie has sex and a bit of drugs. It was a good movie worth seeing.
Was not all that into this film, maybe because I had just watched I spit on your grave and The Evil Dead right before, I just didnt feel that hooked feeling to it at all and I had no feeling what so ever about the characters, none! this movie might as well get donkey punched into the recycle bin. Blahh! stick with the cult classics!!
Terrible movie. This film is a complete insult to anyone’s intelligence. The first half hour plays out like a cheap porno film (Read the film title) which then turns into a slasher film. The acting is terrible, the films premised even worse in all honesty who ever wrote and directed this should be ashamed. Horror films like this make the industry look bad.

it starts off with some very likable characters that you really like and when the one sexy dude from wolf creek donkey punches the girl all things go to hell..
this movie had great acting from everybody but was kind of laughable when the one dude who was stabbed squealed like a girl
this movie had some really good gore in it and even had some nudity..and not just girl nudity it had some dick!!!! YAYYAYYYY for the dick of the guy in wolf creek!!!!!
this movier also had a really good score and was just a really goodd thriller!!
Wasn’t as good as I thought it would be
Good. The movie starts of a little suspicious, when one of the guys say “It’s All Going To Plan”. It’s overdone sex scene seems very pointless, and rather long. After one of the 7 dies, the other 6 start to freak out, which is good, to see how they all react. The death scenes were pretty gruesome, bar one which was ideal for the situation. The tension in scenes was hard to go unnoticed, as the two remaining girls tried to escape without being noticed. The ending was rather predictable, but good none-of-the-less.
The plot was simple, and well it seemed like it was improvised alot, which in this case was good. There was one major plot hole to me, that I still don’t understand, and it yet is still to be resolved.
The acting was decent, and believable. It seemed at some times in the movie, the characters weren’t even acting it was that good, but other times the acting wasn’t as good as it was previously.
Overall “Donkey Punch” has some moments of greatness, but then some moments of badness, but is averagely good. My rating is 3/5
Don’t listen to any of the negative reviewers at all. Yes it’s slow, but come on it’s on a fuckin boat. How fast do you want it to be. ANd granted the kills on all that exciting once again it’s on a boat. How many things can you use to kill someone. LOL.
Now thats out of the way. The DP on this film is brilliant. Just brilliant. The music is fantastic. The girls are pretty cute. The acting is believable. Expect for a couple of scenes. Where I just didn’t get it. You’ll see what I mean when you see it. One is with one of the girls the other is with one of the guys.
But over all. It’s a very effective film. No it’s not scary nor horror. It’s a straight lace thillar. I am looking forward to see what else this guy can churn out. But I love movies that has a good soundtrack, beautiful shot’s, cute babes, dickhead guys, and a cookie cutter plot. Thats just me. If you like those films too check it. If slow pace films are not your cup of joe stay clear. Because you will be bored.
This is the second best film I saw in the 6 shooter… The first one is Special if you haven’t seen it rent it. greatest movie EVER. And I mean that. It’s touches you in so many ways. IDK if Timecrimes was part of 6 shooter. I think it was. but that film was a piece of repective horse shit.
Not bad for just one viewing. Donkey punch really offers nothing new aside from the sex scene. Still it was alright.
Not a bad film at all, yes it is slow paced and the acting isn’t the greatest, but the film’s real strength comes from an excellent and creative way to start the problem, and the kills were both gory and very realistic. The story isn’t anything to write home about, but it’s very believable and executed quite well. Overall, definately an above average film worth watching.
this movie is funny on how the got the donkey punch all wrong when he punches her in the neck i started laughing the crucnh so was funny this movie was a riot it was just a good time all the way through
This was a average film it had potential that the writer and director just droped the ball on it. The cast was preety good with what they were working with. and the flare scene was funny!
This is one of those films which starts off a tad slow but you have to keep watching, and if you do keep watching it really does pay off! As soon as the girl dies from a donkey punch it really gets going! It’s high on thrills and spills and some hardcore death scenes. I do think that the sex was a bit overdone but not completely uneccesary.
Two main problems:
1) At a few points near the film’s end, I was checking my watch to see how long it was going to last. Seemed to unnessarily drag on and I became bored.
2) Unfortunately, what could have been a REALLY interesting morality tale was spoiled by some absurd and unrealistic decisions made by the characters.
When it first came out Donkey Punch received some ink for being controversial or edgy or somesuch. Really, it’s nothing more than a predictable and derivative – albeit entertaining – film with a great soundtrack, fine cinematography, a good-looking cast (including Ray Winstone’s daughter) and a promising director all done on a modest budget.
Definitely worth at least one watch!

I really liked the movie. It was very good and yeah a little slow paced but it was a good thriller. And I do agree the sex was overdone a bit made seem a little like porn.
The tension after the sex-fest “donkey punch” had my attention for 20 mins or so, but then the movie got a bit slow and I lost interest in the characters as well as the story. It really isn’t very interesting at the beginning either except for the hotties and the knowing feeling that things will go south in a hurry once on the boat. Too bad the movie went south as well. Worth a view, but not a keeper.

Good thriller, yes it’s fairly predictable for the most part, but the killings were pretty brutal.
Olly Blackburn did well to create a couple of characters you love to hate, particularly Josh (I think thats his name) – the guy who donkey punched the hottie.
I liked it. Its a good british film that doesn’t hold back on violence, drug use and so on – a lot like some other good british films I’ve seen, namely ‘From London to Brighton’, ‘The Descent’ and ‘Eden Lake’.
Donkey Punch gets a 7/10 from me.
Didn’t really do much for me one bit to slow and boring for my liking.
Saw this movie a while ago with a mate who knew what a ‘Donkey Punch’ actually was. Me and my innocent mind were oblivious and obviously, finding out exactly what said Donkey Punch was; i was somewhat amused and a tiny bit disgusted. But apart from that hoo-ha, there’s not much else going on. It’s very slow-paced and the only actress I knew was Jamie Winstone (who’s also in Dead Set which you should DEFINITLY check out).
It is a good movie but it’s not brilliant. Some okay acting and awesome music.

What’s up with the wrong movie poster being up there? An tense, chaotic, brutal, sexy but sometimes too sexy and slickly, stylishly made thriller in the likes of The Ferryman without the supernatural undertones, Dead Calm without the story or scares and Very Bad Things without the humor. In the beginning it felt like I was watching a hip music video or some Laguna Beach episode and it treads almost into porn territory with its full frontal nudity and pretty long sex scene and if you read the title of the movie you know what’s going to happen in that scene. After a freak accident on a beautiful yacht all hell breaks loose on how differently they try to handle the scary situation and the blood starts to flow. The acting was decent but not great and it was sometimes hard to understand what they are saying with their strong british accents and it’s funny because on a SNL episode they make fun of how hard it is to understand what people are saying in british films sometimes and it’s absolutly true. It doesn’t have much of a strong story and the lack of character developement it was hard to care what happened to anyone but the brutal, graphic kills and the intensity makes up for that as well as the scenery. It has a pretty shocking ending that was haunting and effective. Overall it wasn’t completely original and the characters were bland and thin but I can see that an effort to bring a new twist and spin on thrillers of this kind was brought to the table and I think it accomplished what it set out to do for the most part and for a movie called Donkey Punch it wasn’t half bad. Rent it for a boring night at home.
stupid movie, but fun idea. fun to watch. not sure that an intelligent woman would get on a boat with a bunch of idiots, but then again i guess that they wouldn’t be idiots with out them.
Great movie, whats not to like? Sex, nudity, violence…
