Remember the chick from the movie “MY GIRL”? Want to almost see her topless? Besides that, this film is a hilarious social commentary on the price of oil. I think this is a great movie. Its a dark comedy but its fun.

What a hilarious movie this was, this movie was very original, and in my opinion the best movie about a car since john carpenter’s christine way back in 1983
i was in hysterics in a few hilarious spots that made the film more strange and funnier, there was interesting kills in the movie that were a blast to watch, with our economy and the way things are going with gasoline in our world today, this is a must see horror film that will definatly give you a little humor about it all.

Wow this is one screwed up dark comedy with kills and lots of blood to go with it. With a decent budget this could have become a cult classic. Definitely worth watching. Oh yea T@A too.

This movie is one of the best and most original to come out in a very long time. Definitely a must see. Hilarious, creative, important, outrageous, golden!

‘Blood Car’ is one of the most original horror films I’ve ever seen. A future with gas prices so high that a man invents a car that runs on human blood? Sweet! The movie starts off hilarious and stays funny throughout. Don’t let the low budget turn you off, this movie is definitely worth a viewing or two. The jokes keep on coming, which helps to place this in the top tier of all the horror comedies out there (that I’ve seen, at least).
My only quip about ‘Blood Car’ was the fact that in the city where the film takes place, cars are not readily used, but somehow the entire area looks completely empty. Shouldn’t there be a few thousand people hitting the streets or biking places? I guess not…
There are also some strong psychological horror elements at work here. I don’t want to spoil anything, but one character starts to go a little crazy and does a very convincing job doing so.
The acting’s good, the plot is brilliant, and you genuinely care about the main character. In addition to that, it’s laugh-out-loud hilarious. It doesn’t sacrifice style for substance or vice versa; the humor is just right. You should see it now!

Funny horror flick. It is obvious from the movie title what it is about, but the characters and dark humor make it entertaining. The main character’s girlfriend in the movie (Denise) is a riot.

    LMFAO… classic.

This movie knows it’s bad and plays up on it. The acting is wooden but it’s suppose to be. Plus you got the chick from my girl. Who is actually pretty damn hot these days. SWEET.

and the last 10 mins of this film is so fucked up. But you just can’t help to laugh.

Does that make me a bad person????

Hope blood car 2 comes out in the near future.

Never consistent as it wants to be, whilst never taking itself too seriously, “Blood Car” is at best a decent horror-comedy that is neither scary nor funny enough to qualify as a worthwhile cinematic venture. I say skip it: some say see it. Take your pick, because on its own right, “Blood Car” does its job.

But that doesn’t mean that it does it well. The film is ambitious and low-budget, which is admirable. It’s about a Vegan who rebels against high gas prices by fueling his vehicle with the blood of animals, humans, and himself, alike. We first witness him using his own blood, and then through a VERY darkly-funny sequence, we witness the Vegan going in for the kill on squirrels, cats, and many dogs.

I don’t mind “Blood Car”. It’s a sleazy pic, that does what it wants to do efficiently, but couldn’t entertain me as well as it wanted to. There are some clever moments, and some funny ones too, but I don’t like feeling like I did when I watched “Blood Car”, and that feeling was: embarrassed. But for a movie that makes you feel embarrassed to be watching it, it turns out to be not all that bad. Food for thought.

Official Score: 4 / 5
