The first part of the film was good and then it was like a to be continued…piece of crap. It had potential.
The set up between the parallel stories was executed beautifully, however, the pay off is just another “seen this done a million times” 3rd act. I may have been expecting too much as this has been covered on BD for a while now but ultimately it just left me empty.
I agree with the previous reviews: the setup for this movie was good, even suspenseful, but the third act is strictly cookie-cutter. It’s like they gave up trying to resolve the plot and just said “OK, the movie’s over, thanks everyone!” It’s too bad, with a little more effort this could have been a great horror film.
