At this weekend’s Toy Fair in New York a brand new Dante in ‘Crusader’ outfit and Unbaptized Baby were shown from NECA’s “Dante’s Inferno” figure line. Both figures will most likely be sold as a 2-pack, reports Figures.com. NECA also confirmed the following new video game licenses which will join the Player Select toy line: “Borderlands” (Articulated Claptrap with sound effects), “Splinter Cell 2″ and “Assassin’s Creed 2″.

In the same vein as Dead Space: Downfall, Starz Entertainment is releasing an animated feature film for Dante’s Inferno to arrive alongside EA’s much anticipated video game. “Inferno” will mirror the game’s plot and follow Dante’s journey through the nine circles of Hell — limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, anger, heresy, violence, fraud and treachery — in search of his true love, Beatrice. Didja enjoy a little of that animated Dead Space: Downfall feature from Anchor Bay and Starz?
