Frankenweenie is easily the best Tim Burton movie in a decade. I was almost braced to dislike it, so it was a wonderful surprise to find myself concurring with Brad’s glowing review. EW scored a first look at some concept art (above and below) for Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio, which del Toro will be co-directing with Mark Gustafson, the animation director on Wes Anderson’s The Fantastic Mr. Fox. While the art is credited to the Jim Hensen company, it looks to be drawn by popular genre artists Gris Grimly, who at one time was co-directing from a screenplay based on his story. He is producing.
