Synopsis
Set almost wholly on a speeding train and in a lunatic asylum, this little feature is full of action, but neither the director nor writer does much to give it any atmosphere. The characters are also undeveloped. What's worse, the plot comes to an abrupt conclusion. With a little ingenuity, the asylum could have been presented as a more menacing house of horrors. Nonetheless, Shirley Grey makes an attractively vulnerable heroine, though lacking the glamor and charisma Geneva Mitchell brings to her reluctant villainess. Talmadge himself is naively personable.
