From October 19th to November 10th, Mondo will be holding a gallery show featuring numerous posters for the classic Universal Monster movies! A few weeks ago they unveiled their take on Creature From The Black Lagoon by artist Laurent Durieux. Now they’ve unveiled an additional Ken Taylor poster for that film. Halloween Treat #2: Watch Greg Nicotero’s ‘United Monster Talent’ Short

“The Walking Dead”‘s Special FX Make-Up Designer Greg Nicotero unquestionably knows his zombies. One look at the photos of his undead creations for the AMC series is proof enough of that. But Nicotero also knows his werewolves, his mummies and his creatures from the Black Lagoon. Need proof on that count, too? Check out his his short film, “The United Monster Talent Agency,” a faux promo for a fictional Hollywood agency representing monsters from Universal Studios circa 1950s. The short film features guest appearances by Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel), Dana Gould (“The Simpsons”), Robert Rodriguez (Machete) and “The Walking Dead”‘s own Executive Producer and Director Frank Darabont (who fittingly plays a director).
