“Night Of Bloody Horror” is neither that bloody, nor that horrific – it’s actually a dry and boring lowest-budget “Psycho” rip-off that desperately tries to be enjoyable and original, but ultimately falls flat on its face.
There are a few quite nice kills (axe in face, needle in eye), lots of cool psychedelic dream sequences, a weird but effective soundtrack and a fabulous ending.
The rest is just lame: most of the acting is either weak or plain silly and the characters are all completely implausible. There’s hardly any suspense or atmosphere due to a crappy script and the poor direction, the cinematography looks bad, the editing is amateurish and worst of all, the whole movie is so fuckin’ predictable, I figured out the killer after the first 13 minutes!!
A trite and uninteresting little cheesefest, not worth checking out.
