Yuck. I’ve been anxiously waiting to see The Knights of Badassdom for over two years now. But the version I’ve been dying for is the 90 minute Joe Lynch cut – not this alleged 70 minute version that was assembled by an IndieVest CEO seemingly intent on selling the film without regard for continuity or quality. Fresh Synopsis for ‘The Knights of Badassdom’
While we had the plot synopsis posted a few months back for Joe Lynch’s The Knights of Badassdom, we were nicely asked to pull it down. Well, the latest synopsis is making its rounds online and we’ve got it for you inside. Shooting is expected to begin soon on the dark metal horror pic starring Ryan Kwanten, Steve Zahn, Peter Dinklage, Danny Pudi, and Summer Glau. Penned by Kevin Dreyfuss and Matt Wall, it follows a group of costumed LARPers (Live Action Role Players) who accidentally release a real-life Heavy Metal demon. Joe Lynch Prepping to Shoot Second Feature, ‘The Knights of Badassdom’
At this past weekend’s Frightfest UK, both John Landis and Joe Lynch were in attendance, where they jokingly duke it out with words. After a little fun, they broke the news that Lynch, who directed the very popular Wrong Turn 2, will be getting back behind the camera for The Knights of Badassdom, which is described by Lynch as “heavy metal horror,” adding that the “tone of film very much ‘American Werewolf in London.” Shooting begins this October.
