Crazy old news resurrected as Deadline is reporting The Crazies director Breck Eisner has been set to helm The Last Witch Hunter, and Riddick‘s Vin Diesel is still in talks to star. The film is being co-financed by Summit Entertainment and Emmett/Furla Films. TheWrap had previously reported this news back in September of 2012. Per The Wrap, Vin Diesel (Riddick, Fast Five) is in talks to star in The Last Witch Hunter for Lionsgate/Summit. The film is set to be directed by Breck Eisner (The Crazies) and written by Cory Goodman (who sold his pitch two years ago when Timur Bekmambetov was attached to direct).
