The first 3/4 of the movie I thought was great. Some good scares. The last 1/4 was a little weird. Therefore, most of the move I enjoyed so I recommend checking it out for yourself.
Tepid pacing and some truly cringe worthy dialogue aside, the “twist,” if you can even call it that, is a huge misstep and does little more than add more questions that are never even attempted to be answered. And what’s with the title? There is no more than one “Intruder.” Cant explain either the plural form or why they didn’t just simply call it Hollowface after the supposed villain which is considerably more intriguing.
(7) – gave me the stomach creeps, which is rare, since I watch so many horror films. The way they wrapped up the plot was a bit of a let down, but I highly recommend this. Start watching without reading a synopsis or watching a trailer, and this shit might actually “scare” you a bit.
