The movie cover says 4 stars so they must be right!
Strigoi is very slow moving. Lots of talking, not enough action. Colorful characters and okay acting keep the movie from coming to a complete stop. Not scary. Not horrible, but not worth your time. I’d pass if I were you. Strigoi would have worked great as a short movie, say 30 to 45 minutes.
Dark, slow burner with spurts of black comedy. Not for your usual vampire crowd, mostly references the origins of it all. loved it, solid execution on all accounts.
