Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada and Three Little Birds Productions acquired Among Friends for home video in Canada. This new horror film marks the directorial debut of scream queen Danielle Harris and is the story of a group of friends who get together for a murder mystery party, but things take a dark turn when one hijacks the evening and is out for blood. Although I thought this was already announced, Christopher Landon – who penned Disturbia and the three Paranormal Activity sequels – is set to write and direct the currently untitled Latino version of PA for Paramount Pictures. The quasi-spinoff was teased during the post-credits of PA 4 and is slated for release Spring 2013. Says Deadline: “The spinoff will include the demon from the PA franchise and star mostly Latino actors and film partly in Spanish.” READ MORE
