Synopsis

The party of the decade is disrupted by a mysterious phenomenon, and the evening quickly descends into chaos.

Three college friends go to the biggest party of the year, each looking for something different: love, sex and a simple human connection. When a supernatural phenomenon disrupts the party, it lights a fuse on what will become the strangest night anyone has ever seen. As the three friends struggle to find what they’re looking for, the party quickly descends into a chaos that challenges if they can stay friends or if they can even stay alive.

Plus One isn’t for everybody. It sets up a unique Project X via Can’t Hardly Wait universe and melds it into an Invasion Of The Body Snatchers shaped mold. This ultimately might not be the best delivery system for its message, but it swings for the fences in a way I wasn’t expecting and – at the very least – succeeds in being an utterly original (and visually appealing) experiment.
