A lot of my B horror movie knowledge stems from sleepovers with my friends watching USA Up All Night. Two movies stand out in my memory from those Saturday nights – Flesh Eating Mothers and Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama. The latter is a 1988 flick directed by David DeCoteau which starred legendary 80′s scream queens Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens, and Michelle Bauer. The movie scared me, I kid you not. A sadistic imp is let loose from a magical bowling trophy and goes on to wreak havoc in monkey paw fashion. While I must say the movie is actually horrible watching it years later, I am almost certain it subliminally planted something in my brain that led me to later pledge Tri Delta as my sorority in 1997. …Read More
