A Nice Change Of Pace: ‘Apollo 18’ And ‘Final Destination 5’ Move Up

Published

As the April 22 release date loomed over the horizon, Dimension Films bumped Apollo 18 to January 22, 2012, indicating that either the film was a lot more work than the studio thought or it was a total turkey. In an amazing turn of events, the outer space flick – which unearths footage from Apollo 18’s undocumented and covert mission to the moon, revealing disturbing new evidence of other life forms – will now bow on August 26, 2011.

Also getting a release date shift is Final Destination 5, which moves from August 26th to August 12th, 2011. In this fifth installment, “Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man’s premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But this group of unsuspecting souls was never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death’s sinister agenda.
